DRAVID THE SILENT CRUSADER
by akash kumar on Aug 22, 2011 02:31 PM  | Hide replies

Bravo to Rahul Dravid the lesser God of Indian Cricket. But After great Sunil Gavaskar it is him whose aura n era seeming continues till date though Sachin shone in patches.

The factionalism of Dhoni is evident in the team and Dravid whose selection at some point was in doubts even in tests have shown his facelessness in accomplishing the feats in England with / without other batsman supporting him.

Why people asking for Sachin as Bharat Ratna when RAHUL DRAVID should be the first to have got it.Pity our masses adore the lesser demi Gods than the one who is demure, reliable and nameless..............

Rahul Dravid even after Cricket should be serving masses in different capacities.....

Legends like him give us inspiration .... A true Jr. Anna....

Dravid, Kumble Srinath all three are selfless servants of indian cricket. Time is showing their greatness. No media is saying this now bcoz they are very partial. If dravid had failed they wud have made a big noise by asking his retirement. why not they asksachins retirement....

INDIA TEST SIDE TOWARDS EXTINCTION ?
by damodaran mohan on Aug 22, 2011 02:02 PM

Only Dravid has been the redeeming feature of the entire England Test tour of India. We keep our fingers crossed and it remains to be seen how India performs under english conditions in the one day series to follow.Given that the other two seniors are not in all that good touch and the fact that yougsters are yet to get into Test mould, the TEST scenarion for India doesn't look all that great. It must be admitted that given the prepoderance of IPL,the prospects of India remaining a formidable TEST side looks bleak.

he has proved time and again that he can score on foreign pitches, most other Indian batsman don't let us not compare him with any one, today he is the best batsman indian has, his efforts, dedication to the game is simply great. he has not just blocked like a WALL, rather he has climbed the wall. try doing it as long as you can
