Let us excuse him and his likes
by Orient Mystique on Aug 18, 2011 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

Boycott does not remember what happened to England team which visited India under the captaincy of Kevin Pietersen.

Age takes its toll usually and we shall therefore excuse the likes of Boycott with myopic memory.

All blah blah by many - common fans and experts, past players alike - notwithstanding, I hold BCCI rather than Indian team and the individual players, captain, coach responsible for the poor show on this tour. Players are human beings and not robots. They are not doing ordinary office work at tables in airconditioned rooms, they toil on the fields for six hours a day for 5 days in a test match. When the duration of the game gets shorter, physical toll does not diminish, because the intensity increases.

If BCCI is serious about its team returning to No.1 slot and retaining it for long, it has to be careful and scientific about future tours and player selections.

I am sure that if BCCI ensures no games for the next 3 months for all its players and arranges a tour of England sometime later, the same Indian team will crush the current paper tiger team of England lock, stock and barrel.

Yes, especially the mental strain of playing too much...

But the only agenda of BCCI is money. And not just BCCI, even media, corporates so many others are dependent on Cricket. So it is unlikely that players get any rest.

You will only see the stupid solution given by BCCI that "players can take rest whenever". Is it called a board then? If players start taking rest here and there, then it will upset the rhythm, team composition and results (barring threat of an individual cricket losing place in the side which is least significant)

Is this board really worried about our team losing/winning? Is it worried about game? No... Only common people like you and me are worried about it. Even media wants them to continue playing as they can keep covering it (the live coverage, the analysis, gossips, controversies, etc, etc)

Hello Mr. Boycott
by hawaldar on Aug 18, 2011 11:08 AM

Please read it.

Your English Team has had enough humiliations and defeats in its history for you to feel sick about. Even after hosting maximum number of world cups, they never won one! On the other hand, India has won both at home and at your den! Just that in your (England's) earlier days as they were inventors of cricket, they have won many test matches (as the other teams were trying to get into terms of cricket even Australia and West Indies had lost to you). That's why you have good record in test matches. But in the recent past, your test records are as average as any other team like India, Srilanka, New Zealand. Your team will definitely not be talked on the ranks of Australia or the past West Indies. And your One Day Record is pathetic to say the least (you lose to teams like Bangladesh, Ireland on regular rate).

So don't feel proud of your team just for the momentary success that you are seeing now

Englabd should introduce the concept of AARAKSHAN on their soil
by Raj on Aug 17, 2011 12:23 PM  | Hide replies

Let England introduce free cricket tickets to the backward and poor deprived natives of England - serves two purposes, keeps the rioters away and will fill stadias all the time - even when England will play Zimbabwe - Did you see that pig flying Mr /boycott?

:-).... good point. And India should turn away spectators who have bought tickets using Moneymoan Singh and Delhi Police tactics. After all, we DON'T want witnesses to see our debacles.... right? :)

like East India company after wWhipping the weakly armed (technically), weakly prepared, weaker tactically the kings arseess.

then, bought them out by bakshis (for perpetual control) ... those could be kings, then the political brokers (nehru, jinnah, gandhi), the business brokers (tatas, reliance ) ... All weak willed, deal makers and sold out from behind with kickback accounts.

Now the same policy repeats with first two Anglo-dutch attack followed by 3rd attack with desi slave in the team.

Dhoni's captaincy is the BIGGEST LIE ever
by rajkamal dubey on Aug 17, 2011 08:59 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni's so-called tactics never worked because honestly speaking, Dhonee never had any tactic at all...it was one or the other player performing in the last 3 years...Sehwag in tests, Gambhir in 2009, Kohli in ODI's this year, Raina sometime before that, Yuvraj Singh in world cup etc....That's why India won matches in the last few years.......And not because of any captaincy...captaincy is a big lie which has been perpetrated by the corrupt media...can you think beyond captaincy and count the no. of occassions when Dhoni's decision really made a difference?...if you look carefully, Dhoni had no contribution at all...Dhoni himself was the non-performer all along, quietly pocketing all glory heaped on him by a corrupt media for no reason at all...but this is where Dhoni's luck ends as it should because he is useless after all

ok rajkamal dubey, i got it what you want to say...but why put it this way...any one would think that you are trying to criticise dhoni...

speak it straight...u want to say that all the wins we had under dhoni was because of other 10 players and dhoni should not be blamed for that...

u want to say that all the losses we had under dhoni including this series is because of other 10 players and dhoni is not to be blamed for that...

understood...but why post it in such a roundabout way?

OK Sunil Vaidya. I got it what you want to say... but why put it this way...

Any one would think that you are trying to unnecessarily praise Dhoni and unnecessarily criticise Sachin... :)

If you want to say that all the wins we had under Dhoni including the World Cup is because of his captaincy and Dhoni is the ONLY one to be blamed for this "humiliating" defeat.
You also want to say that Sachin never helped India anyway so he is not to be blamed for this debacle currently under way in England..

Understood... but why post it in such a roundabout way? :)

Sachin Fixation
by rajesh ramachandran on Aug 17, 2011 08:57 AM

Let us get over the Sachin fixation. Its nauseating to read about how many centuries he has scored....He has served well for so many years, but no player is greater than the team or the game...

Let us focus on the game..There are 11 players in the team and its a team game and not an individual sport...

I am optimistic that Sachin would score a century...after all there is no pressure as our team has nothing more to lose!!!!

No DENIAL it was an Anglo-Dutch ghora attack in first two match
by D S on Aug 17, 2011 08:54 AM  | Hide replies

Ghoras caredd shytee about boycott diplomacy. they launched double barreled Anglo-Dutch attacked with dutch origin players from Africa. One Irish origin player.

Like East India company to consolidat, they hired an Indian fellow Ravi bopara to cover their tracks. Get him in 3rd test when Bopara was not part of hidden anglo-dutch program to make england the number 1 team.

Also, including Bopara means, they can control dutch and Irish player much better on racial lines.

Sort of how East India company bought loyalty by selective favor to Business brokers(tatas, reliance, etc) , political brokers (jinnah, nehri, gandhi), etc.
