let bcci pay what england wants to lose 4th test and let few indian batsman make hundreds. Let Sehwag play few shots which will bring back the indian crowd in the game.
1. England beats India in England but will lose to South Africa and Australia. 2. India beats England, South Africa, Australia and Srilanka in Sub-Continent but loses to England and South Africa in their respective countries.
3. Not a single team since downfall of great West Indies side has been able to convincingly beat home teams in their den.
Let England come to India and see exactly reverse results on spinning tracks later this year.

I think the issue is not that the "so called" number one sides lose matches here and there in others' dens.
The issue is HOW they lose those matches..... When Australia was Number one, did they come to India and get thrashed the way THIS Indian team was displaying school boy skills?
THAT's the point Boycott is raising.... when he says that the cricketing standards are declining....
The English have achieved so li'l in sports in the last few decades that they start going ballistic at the slightest taste of success. Don't forget, England have to tour India later this year. Let them beat us in India before Boycott can say that this English team "can beat what is put infront of them". What applies to India also applies to them - The need to win overseas. I'm still convinced that India is a much better side than their performance in this series suggests.

That shows that we can also play and win only in India and not else where where the pitches are fast and green. Whatever Boycott has said is true. T20 is killing the game of cricket.

IF I had 60 billion dollars, I'd be richer than Bill Gates...
BTW, did you not make the same comments before THIS series had begun? Remember Darren Gough making a comment about this English team can beat India anyday of the year, and there was such a furore predicting 9-0 India win in the 4 match series etc.... :)
How nice of Mr. Boycott to say that England have become No.1 Test playing Nation, when other countries' Test teams are declining. He further says that England can play and beat what is put in front of them, all weak teams. One thing is sure, India at this point of time was a weak team (courtesy BCCI). Therefore England need not be happy about being No.1.
Changes have come for each and every sports. It is quite natural that new formats of the game being introduced to avoid monotony for fans and to secure new followers of the game.Sevens football, beach volleyball, ice hockey etc r examples of such changes in the format.T20 is also like that time of the game being reduced while provides more entertainment. In the present situations only limited overs cricket will sustain.ICC need to change test cricket to make it 100 overs per innings instead of being bowled out.
Dhoni got 450000 dollors charity on account of his wife's name on the day when Indian High Commission called them in the reception. Why they preffered this charity programme over that invitation........................................
Brits introduced cricket, Indians introduced match fixing. Match fixing is a bigger business than cricket in India and Pakistan. Cricketing ties should be only limited to UK, Aus, South Africa.
Re: What about match fixing
by Venugopalan on Aug 16, 2011 05:50 PM
you go and wash white mans undies, fixing belongs to countries like australia, south africa and pokistan...go learn and write committee mr porkisani in a false id..
Since there are no answers for Test Cricket, these series have to be fixed so that more spectators attend to watch at the stadiums. Endland will win in England and become #1. India will win in India and will become #1 again, thus more spectators will watch at the stadiums.
And Indian players will make loads of Money.
It's no fun watching games like these. I will tune onto Golf PGA tour where an individual strives to win!
