CRICKET WORLD CHAMPIONS - MY SHEET
by chamdi on Aug 16, 2011 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

How can INDIA call it self Cricket World Champions? Because Hardly Most of the countries around the world play cricket. Only 8 to 10 countries play cricket and the rest are forced to play cricket & if there are no players in those countries they send Indian players there. BULL SHEET THIS CRICKET IS, If INDIA need to come up and get recognisation the media should stop blah blah on cricket and tell these guys to spend money atleast to bring up the FOOTBALL culture to get recognisation. NOW CURSE ME FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH, THATS WHAT INDIA IS FOR.

First you should check the food, nutrition and hygiene habits of Indians before playing football or athletics. We are only fit to play such lazy games and indoor games like Chess, Billiards, etc.

Chamdi baba, You should take up this matter with BCCI and other Test playing nations. For the sake of Indian Cricket.....your analysis is well thought out....it seems.

Boycott has a point
by Polar Shift on Aug 16, 2011 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Boycott is just stating facts. I think he has a point. I never used to like him much but lately i see he has been making some sensible comments. He only says If india plays badly then sponsors back out and thats bad for the game.

Read the article fully before criticizing him.

So whats the problem? Why England can't create sponsors for their game? (and when they are winning?)

Don't worry man, even if India loses loses and loses, our people will continue watch the mad game. If Boycott's words were true, then Cricket should have died several times whenever India lost poorly (India always loses in a brutal way) India has not just lost test cricket, India has lost in ODIs also, T20s also... How can he say that if India loses in a Test Match, Test Cricket will die? It is a different issue. Always Indians will feel Test Cricket as boring compared to other formats, no matter whether we win or lose...

When will India learn!
by seetharam narsipur on Aug 16, 2011 04:30 PM

Boycott has hit the nail on the head! This fact has to be understood by the Indian cricketers. Once disillusioned, the very players struggle to raise money in IPL and Ads!

Dont take them lightly when they come to India
by rahul on Aug 16, 2011 04:19 PM

The English team may struggle against truning tracks, butdont forget they played well in India, and also against india in WC , their batsman chased 300 plus scored by Indians and tied the match, & bhajji & chawla were taken apart,

Hope to see them paly in India , & lets see how they perform then,
Hope our india wins as it is not going to be a cake walk

Let him bark
by S K on Aug 16, 2011 04:14 PM  | Hide replies

You can bark as much as u want to. Did test cricket die in england or world wide when australia had thrashed england 5-0 in Ashes? So why so much brouhaha. Admittedly India went down even without a fight in all 3 tests played so far so you want to say that since India players played badly test cricket will die?
Just wait and watch again test cricket will die when your side is bundled out for a small score by some test playing nation.....

Dear Mr. Boycott,

Let them come to India, we will pay them back in the same coin. Once bad series does not make any difference. This does not mean that we are supporting the Indian team for their horrible performance. It is a bad phase.WE will see them when they are India on our turning tracks.
