Practise for throwing the ball flat so that it reaches the keeper or bowler fast.Trainign should be in such away fielders should throw the ball from long distance flat to the keeper or bowler simulaneously both bowler and keeper should get trained to catch in the first attempt with our juggling the ball this can get them runout opportunity.Fieders should practise from all angles to thow the ball on the wicket and it should be pick up and throw.Batsman should be afraid of taking single even.In the current tema batsman takes easily two runs without tension.Learning should be done from Australian and south africa for this.If you improve this our tema have won half the battle.Injury prone players should never be selected and it will make them ti fight for physical fitness
Hund throughthe country and find out tall persons above 6ftand 5inch.Nurish him with good food and phsique and train him for fast bowler.Second.Select players who are agile and no specs.Train them for good fielding practise which should done first by throwing half volley at faster pace and then catch practise.Good eye people can be openedr and keeper if we can bring both in one player then we have bonus for selection.Do not select any fast bowler who cannot bat for a while like sreesanth or Munaf patel. Then comes the throwing of the ball which should be flat and quicker. After the training if they still fail please punish them with fine for every catch or runout they miss and also run.Keep enough bench strength so that no body should take it for granted they are in the team always.
India should at least play for pride at the Oval!Judging from the players'defeatist attitude a 4-0 drubbing maybe on the card! Praveen & Ishant have done bulk of the bowling in the last 6 Tests with hardly any break.Pace bowlers just can't go on & on!Sreesanth has been erratic and clueless on pitches exploited by English seamers!Mishra is a gentle, ineffective legspinner with a propensity to bowl "no balls"!Harbhajan is a lost cause. The openers have hardly given any starts for the middle order to build on!Batsmen like Yuvraj,Raina,Gambhir & Mukund were decidely uncomfortable against pace & swing! Finally India's fielding! Even pensioners are more capable of cutting off runs than our fielders! On top of all this the team lands a few days before the Tests and takes on a well rehearsed, well prepared team hungry for success! The results have been predictable!India has been outbatted; outbowled; outfielded and outwitted! The egoistic, high flying BCCI is now forced to come down to earth!Falling TV TRPs and dwindling sponsorships due to turning away of fans is bound to give BCCI acidity!
========= Yet again, this is PART OF ANGREZ PROGRAM TO BE NUMBER 1 and thus practice England team against Ireland (and figure out who is needed) to tone themselves such as to be able to beat india like how they practiced against Sri-Lanka to beat India. Realized where they needed to improve while indian forgot what special england did against Lanka.
Why not india versus lanka unscheduled One dayer. Angrez brains still running the show from within ICC (or ICC) even whether they are not at the top of the helm or not.

Very True - And looking at the future England fixtures, they have easy overseas tours to middle east, then SL (With Murali and jayasuriya now retired!), no wonder the angrez are already claiming their side will be number 1 for a while - mouse can only play while the cat is away!!
England simply has a class and form today that is unmatched. Our weakness lies in our bowling dept as always. We just do not have any quality bowling that can restrict opposition to anything manageable. India's bane is its bowling and i wonder the use of MRF Pace, NCA etc trying for decades now to bring out a bunch who can really bowl and take wickets. Unless there is an effective system that generates bowlers with skills, we just cannot dream of winning on away soils.
We should learn from Australian Cricket Board from the fact that they showed the door to their big big players when they continuously failed to perform. BCCI should take strict action for this debacle. This is high time, the chief selector, the captain and some of senior players should be sacked and instead of going for same old faces like sharmas, kohlis, murlis, patels and blah blah again and again, BCCI should invest in new talents. Better organize a talent hunt on national television. Who knows it might produce better results than IPLs or ICLs.
It seems our orthodox team loses its divinity due to one or two non-brahmins. It shows his kindness Brahmin Srikanth has allowed some non-brahmins too to play in our Brahmin team. He should correct himself. Otherwise they will ask reservation even in this Brahmin team !

Boy! You have done some research. I would never have known that Srikanth was a Brahmin.

Yes. That is our weakness. We don't care about others' caste, whereas ask even any ordinary Brahmin; he will immediately tell that Srikanth is a Brahmin. These people are vigilant about their caste. Till they come to limelight they won't openly show their caste. They will be either a Hindu or Indian to others. Once they shine, they blow their caste trumpet.

Guess you are right, being a brahmin myself, I can see myself doing the same thing. Dont know where this trait comes from. Guess, we should all stick to our ancient professions of teachers and prayers. Because most of us are theoriticians, we cannot implement. And when we see someone do something rather than just preach, we are surprised, Probably that is the reason, we are happy to have some one amongst us achieve by doing things rather than preaching my honest opinion
