Srikanth created this whole mess by selecting players from Tamil Nadu and Chennai IPL teams. He kept on selecting players like Dinesh Karthik, Vijay Murali, Badrinath and Abhinav Mukund eventhough each one of them failed miserably. Even the selection criteria is a big joke. To accomadate Tamil Nadu players, he selects the team sometime using IPL performance and sometimes using Zonal cricket.Typical Tamil Logic to select Tamil Nadu Players. This is just to accomadate more Tamil Players. Also he selected Ashwin even when not required and delegated him to Bench all the time. He was bench for nearly 30 Plus ODI matches.
He didn;t give any opportunities in tests to players like Pujara, Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, A Rayudu, Rao or M Pandey. Not even a single chance.Pujara played very well and instrumental in winning against Aus and after that he was dropped citing injuries. Tendulkar likes Rayudu a lot and that will the potential of Rayudu. But Rayudu didn;t got any chances not in tests and not in ODIs. But look at Diensh karthik. He played 23 tests and close to 50 ODIS even after miseable failures. The whole investment was waste. Same with Vijay Murali, Badri and Mukund. Because of Srikanth, there are no backup players.
Let me tell you what indian players must be thinking. just get this english tour over as early as possible. see, just tremlett is unfit otherwise all of them are fit. we wanted more of their top players to be unfit. Weather is also not on our side, otherwise it would have rained at crucial stages of last 3 matches. umpires are biased. crowd's on their side. Ball is swinging so much. english players are cheating. they are firing short pitch stuff on us. while they should bowl goodlength, middlle and leg where we are strong.

so v want weather to save us? n crowd is on their side (in fact, crowd has been with ind with many expatriates coming to stadium)?

They should bowl short pitch as we are poor in this area. They are allowed to bowl goodlength, middlle and leg where we are strong. hmm great idea! I doubt whether they are playing for England or India :-)

Most of the wickets have been falling to length balls, not short-pitched balls. That's where poor shot selection from the Indian batsmen is to blame.
stock reply that v hav been outplayed by a bettr team is shows that the enormity of loss and the badgering taken by our pride is not yet dawned own him.
its sad that battelehard veterans like dravid is acting like a swami in this times of intense copetition

rp singh has proved time and again that he is useless when it comes to playing at the highest level. he is only fit for ipl.

yes. but his performance r mainly against weak teams n in sub-continent pitches only.
a team 'called' as no.1 couldnt beat world no.10 team wi by chasing 180 runs, was the worst case of giving credit to the hyped team. that showed the start of the complacency.
india lost the series in england owing to its inability to play swing and bounce. all the hallowed batsmen got exposed when facing quality pace bowling. why have tendus centuries dried up???? OIC its not a series with Bangladesh on the dust bowls of subcontinent.... Our bowlers r the worst lot in the world, who return with pathetic figures on bowler friendly wickets.. With regards to our fielding the less said the better....
Corruption and greed ,and incompetence is destroying Indian Crickets..Is the write a chamcha of BCCI...Lets face its we grow up playing on dead pitches,,,and if we keep playing on cheating dead pitches,,,,its will be the death of Indian crickets...WE needed drastic changes,,,but BCCI,and their chamcha are not up to its....For the betterment of Indian crickets,,,we need the SC to take over BCCI...Remenber BCCI has quite a few ex cricketer who are working for them as chamcha.....

Look at what was done by selectors lobby to RP Singh who was most suited for england. Look at how they pushed Mishra when pragyan and rahul are dual spin attack that would have stalled Angrez run chase because angrez are more used to pace and certain style of spin that Harbhajan and Mishra practice. this is why Pragyan was called to country in AngrezLand.
players like rahul to stop T20 run chase at will by braod, prior, bell, etc.
