Re: same srikkanth was saying india has good bench strength
by logical stab on Aug 16, 2011 09:55 AM
he meant they have wonderful strength and fitness to remain seated for a long time. the problem stems in when they are asked to play.
he tried dinesh kartik result failed..then vijay result failed then raina result failed then mukund again result failed..badrinath too failed..when ashwin getting suceess why he didnt pick ashwin..srikkanth doing regionlisms and giving excuses now..he dont know who is best player from even csk. and he is ignoring likes of irfan and uthappa for last 3 yrs even for t20 world cup...
Re: why he is PIcking csk players like Raina mukund for tests
by timepass on Aug 14, 2011 09:16 PM
he will give chance to other state players only after all of TN Ranji team has got a chance
I think since 2008 indian batting skills have gone down, its difficult foe asian batsmen to last more then a day , in fact most of the teams unable to last a single day in a test match, thats why we dont see many draw testmatch if weather permits full match. If we want to do any good to indian team we should boycott the 20-20 leages and we will see our batting will flourish , otherwise i dont see any bats amn or bowler of sachin dravids laxman kumble srinath kapil dev's class. future of indian cricket is dark its just the begining. to save indian cricket glory stop IPL
these are not dead flat tracks of india, india has never won a test series in Australia and South Africa...India should only play in india because that's the only place where they win or at the most just stay inside Asia otherwise they will keep on getting thrashed like the way they are in England...no one would be surprised if Cook scores another 294 in Ovals as well...just take this team back to india and eat bryani over there...give bharat ratna to tendi-noodle and ask him to retire
He clearly stated he wantd to spend time wit kids n hence skipped windies tour..but ipl was ok for him...now this is the attitude frm the pinacle of indian ckt..we as ckt lovers love the game so emotionally n these people just taks us for granted..dummy god

He failed in most of the innings in the series.
But in the 2nd innings of the last 2 tests, he was only interested in hitting 4s. It appeared if he was practicing for ODI series instead of saving the match.
What is the use of such a player who plays only for himself.

S Shrikanth:
Well said. On that note, I noticed that Cook also played only for himself.... Instead of scoring a golden duck like Sehwag, he scored 294 instead... ;-)

Shrikanth, what u say is right. He was not interested in scoring. He was only interested in hitting 4s (maybe if u dont know, those runs count for the team score......). Hate him if u want, but pls speak logically.
Mr Krishnamachari Shrikanth......He is a cricketer who used to bat most of the time with his EYES CLOSED.....he had no technique....And i think his comments dont make any sense most of the time esply on TV.... Sorry Machaa....your time to pass comments or play cricket is over.....

it was not a good execuse by Srikanth. None of the teams mentioned by him, play more or less the same team for all formats. If u see Aussies, they always select horses for the courses. Some of the players who play test cricket will never be selected for ODI or 20-20. Players like Warner, David Hussey play only ODIs. So, no questionof excessive cricket for them. But here, u see Schewag, Bajji, Sachin (except 20-20), Dravid, Gambhir, Dhoni, Zaheer, Ishant play in all forms of cricket. Obviously they play excess cricket and fatigue is telling upon them. BCCI and the selectors are to be blamed for this debacle and the entire selection team as well as BCCI members including the great PAWAR to be removed.

Allindian fans are un necessarily perturbed. It is all about clicking. This time it has not clicked so we should not blame any body. We will shortly call all the teams to india in the month of March to June and see the result. All teams will loose even before the battle starts. It will clik then. Then we will have our people talking about the glory of each of our crickters.

Raina and Yuvi are missed out as I don't think they are worth discussing
