forget ind being no.1 team. they werent top team. had they been no. 1 team they wud hv won against no. 10 team like wi when they required just 180 runs to win the match n our players surrendered their weapons against lowly ranked wi. how can v b called as the best team if v cant winagainst the lowest team?
More than bowling, batting skills, its the on and off field attitude thats important. We dont people like Sreeshant who never has been serious, focussed, dedicated, consistent, conductive in his entire career so far.
If you like at his on field antics especially before and after bowling, we feel irritated a lot considering the match situation team india is in. He thinks he is a world class bowlers, laughs now and then, irritating hair style, dressing, ornaments on his body, fashionable etc

Well done England!! Your players have remained true to their profession, where as our players were paid millions to be on vacation in England. Our players are just busy building their wealth and enjoying previliged life and their national duty has taken a back seat now.
I still can't digest Sachin's run out. I watched the replay over and over, I just can't believe how casually he was coming back and groundign his bat home. I mean some one of his experience can be so lousy when the game and #1 ranking on line and he was the last savior left?
What is VVS doing with his lazy attitude in the field and not carrying beyond 30-40 runs.
This series was lost because of lack of commitment of seniors players, except Dravid.
Zillions of Rs. showered on these players, and they just slept into comfy life and forgot what brought them where they're today..
Pay them only 10% of the match fee and other 90% should be performance based. They're already making tons in endorshments..

I still think Sehwag should not be in the team for the forth test and Mukund should open. Sehwag hasn't played any cricket for three months and he can't be expected to come in and start performing right away. Also, his bonehead attitude combined with lack of match practise doesn't help team cause..

ALISTAIR COOK also failed in first two tests ! so lets hope some positives
When the test started retaining the top ranking was a burden, Sachin's 100th 100 was another burden and may be some more burdens for team Indian which we dont know at all. Two tests we tried to play defensive, only to loose it. Basic intention was to retain the top ranking, even if Dhoni dont admit it. The third test we lost only due to desperation. The two knocks by Dhoni in the third test itself showed he has not forgotten his aggressive approach and if that aggression if he and his team shown in the first two test, the story might have been different. Instead of India, England might have gone defensive. Better luck next time, be bold and dont play like heros.

What is the old fart Duncan Fletcher doing? What's his role in Team India's preparation?
The Indian team played childish, silly cricket (epitomized by Sehwag's second innings dismissal) almost throughout the series except for a few bright spots. Records and rankings apart, in the last 10 years, this kind of uncompetitive, schoolboy cricket at the highest level has been seen only from Zimbabwe, B'desh and sometimes WI. Makes one wonder if withdrawing India's test playing status wouldn't be a good medicine for the ailing sport? This is of course, a pipe dream, since ICC is nothing but a parasite living off BCCI's ill-gotten wealth.

You've made your expertise on cricket quite evident with your enlightening comment. Do look up "sarcasm" in the dictionary, though.
our team strength is BATSMANS ...they lacked practice in swinging conditions DRAVID was successful becuse he had played lot of COUNTY CRICKET last few years

its not practice. its lack of skill. they dont hv talent to play in swinging n bouncy pitches. they r flat track bullies.

EXACTLY THEY NEED TO PRACTICE FOR THAT ...some of our great batsmans have already handled swing well ,in past

for your kind information sachin has six 100's in England. he is more sound in tech then dravid or any other Indian batsman. every one goes through bad patch.
