This is a joke. Can't imagine the number 1 side has got no batting and bowling strength. Every english player who has been out of form has performed against this Indian side in one inning or another of the three tests played so far. It is like the Indian team is giving the English side batting and bowling practice. What I say is even if you have to lose give a fight. All the Indian side has to show is records of past on paper. Shame on the Indian side

What a shame for the WORLD CHAMPION!!! I can't remember any other team which faced such a worse experience within the next 3-4 tours after winning the world cup. They don't even have the ability to face a quality seam attack on a live track, even with a world best(?) batting line-up! And their bowling attack is also terrible! It proves again, India is only best in the sub continent condition! Outside sub-continent, against a quality opponent, they are just nothing!

Btw for your information India won world cup back in 1983 under great Kapil dev, 3-4 months later in a series against west indies (then best team) India lost 3-0 in India in a 6 match series. One of the games Sunny G came 2 down at #4 instead of opening when the score was 0-2 (2 wickets for 0 runs) and went onto score 236 the highest score for next 2 decades.
My point is India winning world cup is for a reason, its a conspiracy to promote the game. The team is so weak, worst than most teams, england is one of the best these days or the best end of this match. innings defeat is sure for India :-(

Nothing about Sub continent or outside, the quality of team was always questionable. India lost by huge margins against Srilanka more than 1 occasion every time in a test series (some innings and 200 runs etc). India lost to SAF also by huge margin. Both times team India came back and won next match or subsequently to square the series. There were questions raised by intelligent fans if its a deal made by bookies. Probably they don’t want to be too predictable.
Most angrez shots-strokes were in air for Ishant. Dhoni needs to keep on changing field. Bring fielding close to catch those shots in air. Then, move out fielding to stop 4s. And then bring fielder closer again to catch those strokes. Needs to decide with bowler where he will generally put the ball. thus, forcing the batting adjust.
indians selectors are linient and did not select. the best we have from day, BE IT having rohit put in the fitness camp and net, be it having pragyan and R P on the net. DONT TRUST THE DRS OR hot spot.

ANGREZ HAVE frustrated BOTH batting and bowling.
two main tactical plans of angrez
1. FRUSTRATE indian bowler and batsmen. frustration leads bowlers to loose their plan, variation, fatigue, bickering and be vulnerable. same with batsmen. 2. DOMINATION -Beef up the domination on any bowler or batsmen who does good.
Apart from an excellent program to be number 1 that angrez developed for test. The umpire and partial DRS has favoured angrez getting Sehwag and Praveen out. this has ALLOWED TO CUT DOWN Angrez frustration because game is designed for them.
Also, cool umpires have provided help when needed to salvage LBWs against angrez players such as cook (against Praveen appeal) so they can bolster their confidence.
Dravid had no shame to drop catch of praveen kumar ball, this is how indians get polarized because sresanth was forced into the team when replacement was needed in 3rd test...

CANNOT put down Engish batting without doing much MORE than England bowlling. Because, English batting is at par with English bowling due to practice on the net and in counties. Pragyan could have helped india way. What else? Need not be frustrated because Angrez are used to the pace and swing. NEED SOMETHING unusual that indian bowling is unable to deliver. Indian Batting if it made bigger scores could have infused more confidence in Indian bowling.

ANGREZ COACH SAYS, DONT WAIT LONG.
dominate bowler right away after he does well and before he does well. this has been angrez plan to dominate and frustrate indian bowling and batting from day 1. the setup like drs, umpires helped it and reduce frustration of Angrez.
This has been the nemesis of Indian cricket for over a decade now. There is not a single bowler worth his name that can be called a consistent match winner. Unless India prepares true bounce wickets and play things will continue to remain the same way.
In a way its better still as this will stop the cricketers from making disproportionately high sums of money on commercials. We should get them to work rather than pampering them for even the slightest sneeze they dish out on the cricket ground.
