Dravid remains a legend in ODIs too, though many who do not know about cricket would criticize him whether it is Test or ODI. There were cries to remove him from Test team when he was having a very brief lean patch from the ignorant public. Whether it is ODIs or Tests, Rahul Dravid always delivered when it mattered most. Many people considered him a misfit in ODI, still his achievements are as high as anyone can aspire to get.

In the tour of England, Rahul dravid plays a key role. In the 3rd he was fail in both departments (Bat&Ball)

Let us get Real,Folk,Yes, The Time-wasting Test Cricket, 3 Day Crciket,etc was invented by crooked British Colonizers, like inventing Mahatma gandhee, the british double agent and non-violence to make People of Colonies Lazy&Morrons&vegtables and POOR Forever. The ODI matches and T20 match provided thrilling Cricket Unlike the Monotonous and Time Wasting TEST CRICKET which has wsted Millions of man or woman hours of our country and MADE US POORER too and this wastage of millions of working hours has been happending for the past 50 years and MORE and that is why we indians are 50 years behind China which does NOT have this anti-national time-westing game of TEST CRICKET. What a shame that patriotic citizens and leaders have NOT BANNED such a time-wasting game as TEST CRICKET and NOT enacted the law which states that ONLY ODI or short versions oc criket macthes MUST be played ONLY During Week-ends or Holidays so that our country does NOT become another african poor nation sooner or later. May be Anna Hazare and Patriots and RSS&BJP&VHP cadres MUST maka National Agitation to BAN TEST CRicket Forever too.
Dhoni or Dravid ...who is a better batsman in test cricket ?...in my opinion it should be Dhoni...he is out of touch but will soon recover...he scores run at 3 times the speed of Dravid so that India can win matches...most importantly, he has better technique than Rahul "the snail" Dravid...He is also the Coool man...nobody is as cool as dhoni...so he is the best

I feel Ishant Sharma is better than both of them...has got good solid defence attakcing shots...reminds me of another legendary Indian batsman, Maninder singh...he currently holds all battting records...Of course, dhoni has the potential to break them

Dravid is the technical better batsmen than Dhoni...... But in the 3rd test dhoni played better than dravid...

ExactlLY,THERE IS NO QUES OF COMPARISON BETWN DHONI AND DRAVID. REMEMBER FORM IS TEMPORARY BUT THE CLASS IS PERMANENT,AND DRAVID IS A PLAYER OF HIGH CLSS WHERE DHONI IS NOTHING.

Check average of both of them you will find Dravid is far better than any other players except Tendulkar.

no way dude............i'm one of the biggest fans of Maahi but i'll admit that Dravid is the best batsman in test cricket.........he has got superb technique and temperament...........and undoubtedly Dhoni is d best captain in any format of d game..........

JOY sory to intrupt but i admire dhoni for his captaincy but u cant take the credit frm gangully..he took indian cricket frm match fixing controvery to wc final..he was the 1 who made this team.he was the 1 who teached them hw to fight

The wall should not be removed from any format of Indian cricket. A free campaign is required to stop him and to establish him permanent player particularly in Indian one day squad. The reason behind hiding from one day cricket is unjustified. Percentage of youngsters enjoured is rising.
dhoni only said two years back give me youngsters not old one, fielding and catching we need players, youngsters will do normal fielding and little bit etc effort they put to catch the ball, batting wise zero, flat surface they play extremly well, if it is swing and short pitch delivery they say it is not cricket , they take rest. and dont want to say we are interested, because it is difficult to get name and fame.
will be inspiration for cricket boys in near future.Sachin ramesh tendulkar surrendered in pressure,sehwag,dhoni,harbhajan has played with own style but you played with full responsibality.Best of luck
Cometh the moment, cometh the man! This adage cannot fit any one better than Rahul "The Wall Dravid". Time and again, when every one else has failed and struggled even to stay in the wicket, the Wall has stood TALL. Every century and every fifty this totally committed cricketer made in his amazing career is FOR the TEAM and not for himself. He never played for records but still has an amazing track record. He has the best average in overseas wickets apart from being the second highest run getter all time. He has been the WALL on which others painted their personal records. Kudos to the ultimate fighting machine and wishing him several more years of guts, glory, and success!
