Rahul is the Wall that others painted on
by Mohandas Satyam on Aug 08, 2011 02:57 PM

Cometh the moment, cometh the man! This adage cannot fit any one better than Rahul "The Wall Dravid". Time and again, when every one else has failed and struggled even to stay in the wicket, the Wall has stood TALL. Every century and every fifty this totally committed cricketer made in his amazing career is FOR the TEAM and not for himself. He never played for records but still has an amazing track record. He has the best average in overseas wickets apart from being the second highest run getter all time. He has been the WALL on which others painted their personal records. Kudos to the ultimate fighting machine and wishing him several more years of guts, glory, and success!

Right decision

The selectors unceremoniously dropped Dravid from the One day side 2 years back which might have upset Rahul. Now when they recalled him to the Side, he paid back by announcing his retirement after the series. Right decision, now you can say I am retiring on my own terms rather than yours.

Rahul dravid is my best player since my childhood days. he made century against all cricket team. it is big achievement for a cricketer if he play on international level. rahul showed his cricket caliber in England where every player failed. he should be in ODI team as a Wicketkeeper and dhoni should be out from Indian cricket team.see the performance of dhoni in England.

Dravid has taken the right decision
by jolly on Aug 08, 2011 02:52 PM

He has taken the right decision to play test matches only. It is also a gentle slap by him to the Indian cricket board.
