Rahul can stay
by Jay on Aug 09, 2011 07:56 AM  | Hide replies

Rahul please stay and Sachin please go !! enough of all the hype. You just score runs when its TOO EASY for Indian team. At least Dravid is scoring when it really matters. If it was not cause of Dravid.. India wouldn't have even score 100 in all the test matches. Thanks but retire ASAP Sachin and take Zaheer, Dhoni, Bhajji and Yuvi with you. Thanks.

very very well said and this is also my view. poor dravid even inspite of being an obedient soldier of indian cricket he is being used as some use and throw stuff.

Good slap on selectors
by yogesh Puranik on Aug 08, 2011 08:53 PM

Now they have to find another technically correct batsman (Bakra) for one-day series in abroad. So that use him and again drop him until new one-day series in abroad. They used same strategy in champions trophy 2009 when all new comers fail for rising deliveries in abroad

Deciding his retirement from One Day format after this series is good decision taken by Rahul Dravid. We appreciate u r decision. and Play at least one more year for test cricket and show the youngsters how to play Test Cricket. All the best for coming matches.

Kudoos to Dravid right decision to retire with respect
by Suman Bhat on Aug 08, 2011 08:36 AM

Rahul proved many times that he is player of performer par excellence and complete team player
Statistics and his performance speak s for him that Rahul is legend and one of the best among international cricket a very good human being.
He scored runs when team needed badly, opened the innings against best and balanced fast bowling attack on bouncy pithc which is difficult to bat ,in challenging condition, involved in building partnerships, keep the wicket. His performance is an example of dedication concentration, patience, technique.
Dravid proved that player can achieve so much by sheer hard work , discipline, does not need a glamour, media hype or praise from cricket pundits. Many times Dravid was the victim of Indian dirty cricket politics, blamed for the reasons he was not responsible for , did not get the equal amount of credit to which he really deserves.
Still the wall stands tall Loads of cheers Dravid keep up good work
