We all like our team to WIN.... I won't say that our team is no good. I hold the entire team in good respect for the mere fact that they are afterall the best in India, who have proved time and again, period. They have brought enough laurels to our country and their credentials cannot be challenged. For example those who opine that Yuvraj cannot face more than few short deliveries in England's pitch must understand that the same Yuvraj had scored 6 sixes in one over under the same conditions ...... C I would definately attribute our failure to OVER AMBITIOUS TOURING PROGRAM making it vulnerable and tiring to our players...Immediately after the world cup when forest of the world was recovering from their respective defeats in the world cup and when our players should have been rested in preparation of tours ahead, they were slogging playing Mumbai vs Kolkatta. I feel that it was from here that we went wrong. The IPL was taxing, overwhelming and too lucrative to say no to it.)However, it had its own toll, the effect of which got itself manifested in the last two big games agianst ENGLAND... I agree with DHONI that our players didnot get time to even prepare for these games resulting in the debacle... I am sure that the answer to this nagging problem cannot be to say NO TO IPL, but definately a lot can be done about TIMING and the total number of games played in an year with more respect given to the TEST matches than other forms of CRICKET........

wrong view of ICC, ghoras still control ICC pay check for desis and umpire and official. Pawar is an official as well. same with over-scheduling indians.
Indians should be confident enough of 0-4 to england. why? who cares of billions of indian public. players only think of billions of rupees. what happens to them even if they loose. blamed will be the busy schedule, excess cricket, ipl etc, etc. these players get millions through the ads, contracts and they don't even spend thousands on the their physic. even the zimbabwe players some of whom are even the farmers by profession are much more stronger than the indians. the lines "apni gali me to kutta bhi sher hota hai" exaclty apply to the indian players.
Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should take over once the trio retires... Raina and Yuvraj singh are good just on dead indian pitches. These guys just cannot face thee short balls...

in your drEAM, ROHIT GOT INDIA AT FIRST TIME against australia, rohit was also there when we got first t20.
THIS IS THE 5th chance for mukund so he scored 65 against Northampton. Same for laxman who scored 33.
Srikant moved mukund and laxman down the order so they did not face the new ball.
That does not mean gambhir who got 3rd chance should be failing.
2 test = 4 innings = 4 chances in England. Dont remember if mukund and laxman also played for the practice match before the test.
It is a good sign, which means Laxman and Mukund can open for 3rd test. And we give time to sehwag to get back in shape by coming down the order. Gambhir? is he ready for comeback.
India needs to pick up players like Sudip Tyagi, Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayaudu, Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, Badrinath,m dinesh Karthik, R.P.Singh, etc., if, India has to give any fight

Irfan Pathan- Waste of talent Badrinath- old horse Shikhar Dhawan- Flop Dinesh Kartik- Does he need more chances!!!!!! RP Singh- Tiger of IPL only
They can make remaining 2 tests more even provided both are fit.The match fitness is different than actual one as players often play on reputation. It will be unfortunate if both are allowed to play without being injury free as India may again end up playing with 9 players if both breakdown during the test. They can turn the match in our favor if fully fit before third test
We cannot blame the following people 1. Tendulkar 2. Dravid 3. Lakshman 4. Dhoni 5. Sewag 6. Gambhir 7. Harbhajan
We can blame the following but they are playing well 1. Ishant 2. Praveen Kumar
Some of them are new and we cannot blame them too 1. Mukund 2. Saha
We are left with very little choice to blame but they are World cup heros - hard to blame .. We worshipped Kapil and boys for two decade ) 1. Raina 2. Yuvaraj
This is the reason why Gaavaskar and Sashtry and running like headless chicken. We have to change our culture.
First one to blame will be Tendulkar, next Dravid, Lakshman and Dhoni. If you are fit play otherwise leave way for others. We are a country of 1.3 billion and we can definetely find some healthy 10 member team. We dont need you to go to england and say you are stressed and tired. Who asked Gambhir to go and rest there. Who asked HArbhajan, Dhoni, Tendulkar or others to travel when they are not fit.
Time to focus on winning ..... get rid of the hero worship.
