if dhoni can bowl and give only 13 runs
by D S on Aug 07, 2011 04:43 AM

and manaf can take equal wickets as sreesanth, there is something very wrong in the picture that videshi want indian selectors to see. make them MAKE a WRONG team SELECTION.

i would recommend, selectors consider Pragyan ojha along with Rahul, an swing allrounder such as Irfan or ... should be considered.

DONI is real waste. If openers fail, he will fail.
by Murali on Aug 06, 2011 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

Symptom of DONI, he play well if openers stablized the score. Otherwise he is really an utter failure on Scoring. Captaincy, he pretty well understood how good is english batting. He should have taken batting first - atleast team can bat with less pressure. Similarly, if a bowler could not take wicket from one end, try him from the other end. The bowler may be successful.

You are blaming Dhoni, despite he showed faith on every department of the team. Rubbish comment

Top 10 reasons for failure
by Jay on Aug 06, 2011 04:01 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI TOP 10 Road to Failure:

Reason 1: Old man Duncan Fletcher (He's a copy of Greg Chappell)

Reason 2: Captain cool who is also making sure his performances remain ICE COLD - MS DHONI.

Reason 3: Hype of Tendulkar's 100th century which is like a mosquito irritating the team.

Reason 4: Vegetarian fast bowlers.

Reason 5: Too much IPLism in team.

Reason 6: Lack of fitness.

Reason 7: Women in players' lives - Yuvi, Bhajji etc

Reason 8: Lazy players - Zaheer, Viru.

Reason 9: Kris Srikkanth - Favors regionalism.

Reason 10: NEGATIVE Indian fans who never have confidence on the team no matter what. They are the REAL losers.

Jay very funny my comments added

Reason 1: Old man Duncan Fletcher (He's a copy of Greg Chappell)
--- Agreed, this is a conspiracy just like Chappell being a coach, lot of people in India already suspect if Fletcher the former English coach and player (although he stayed in Zimbabwe) is leaking the secrets of Indian players which is very easy to judge 

Reason 2: Captain cool who is also making sure his performances remain ICE COLD - MS DHONI.

Reason 3: Hype of Tendulkar's 100th century which is like a mosquito irritating the team.
--- Agreed, we should host a match against Zim or Bangla and let him make that 100th ton, it’ll be out of discussion

Reason 4: Vegetarian fast bowlers.
--- Hmmm, i don;t know if Zaheer going by his name he seems a muslim and still a veggie. He’s injured most of time. I Sharma, Sreesanth agreed but no one stopped them getting powerful. At the same time there doesn’t seem to be any non veg fast bowler among 2 billion people either

Reason 5: Too much IPLism in team.
---- Cricketers are humans and they have family and future, need to make money

Reason 6: Lack of fitness.
---- no comments

Reason 7: Women in players' lives - Yuvi, Bhajji etc

Reason 8: Lazy players - Zaheer, Viru.

Reason 9: Kris Srikkanth - Favors regionalism.
--- All prior selectors are almost same. Changing A Mukund alone may not bring magic win to Team India. You contradict yourself here
Reason 10: NEGATIVE Indian fans who nev

Dhoni please LEAVE
by Jay on Aug 06, 2011 03:46 AM  | Hide replies

With all respect to Dhoni's achievement over the past 3 years as captain, I strongly feel he's UNFIT to play test cricket. In order to qualify for India in a test match one should be at least BEST in 1 of the 3 disciplines: batting, bowling, wicketkeeping/fielding. Dhoni is not good in any of them. He neither bats well, neither keeps well and bowls CRAP when he does. How can this guy be allowed to suit up for India in a test ? this stupidity happens ONLY in India. Does that mean Indian selectors are stupid - YES THEY ARE !! no surprises cause I know how much of a lunatic Srikkanth was when he played for India. The guy was a maniac with a volatile temper. I guess he has taken that attitude along with his career in team selection. Dhoni has to sacked IMMEDIATELY following the England tour and replaced by Gambir as skipper. Dhoni can still be captain of the ODI and T20 sides. The selectors should also remove Dhoni as a wicketkeeper in tests and allow Saha or Parthiv to play. I know this is harsh on Dhoni but keeping in view India's long term future this is the way to go.
