On day 3, the Indian bowling was massacred by the English batsman including their low order batsman scoring 417 runs in a single day !!!. Their WK Matt Prior & Broad make a joke of our bowling. On day 4 Bresman comes our rubbing salt into our injury scoring at will and almost a century. Our media starts writing that now the pitch is batting friendly. Now the Indian innings start and we fall like 9 pins including the 3 batting greats. 3 batsman Mukund, Raina & Yuvraj cannot play the shortball and batting greats like Sachin, VVS cannot judge Inswingers. I wonder how the English batsman raised the bar few thousand feet and we lowered our bar few thousand feet. An amazing turnaround to our Cricketers becoming ZEROES from HEROES. Winning & Losing is a part of sport and life. But what is shocking is the way, Indians have been beaten to pulp. I wonder what was Sachin's contribution when Dhoni ran out of ideas when our bowlers were belted on Day 4. Dhoni's luck has run out. He was never good with the bat and now he will have a hard time. The only one who can save India is SEHWAG if he can get into form. Otherwise let us be ready for a 4-0 drubbing. The English have really improved a lot and are clearly the World no.1. Imagine their bowlers toying with our bowling and straightway come back and wreck our strong batting line-up in 2 hours. They are in the best form of their life and we are left shell shocked and devastated.
I think we failed to put pressure on england bowlers at the begining of innings. Sehwag's absence did not help. If you look at Aussies while their superb run as best test team, there are certain aspects of their batting which is vital. THey had aggressive players at top order, capable of playing mind games with bowlers. you need top order players capable of Slugfest with bowlers. think of Hyden, Langer, Slater, ponting etc. Need an attacking player at No.3, dravid can bat at 5. If your primary idea is to defend at begining of innings, you are letting bowlers like anderson bowl at their best, which will result in wicket sooner or later. You cannot defend always, you need to take attack to the opposition. guys like dravid, laxman, mukund are too slow and sitting ducks for swing bowlers. sad to see they aurrender without any fight..
They have earned more through endorsements than from playing cricket. If in the last two tests days, they would have endorsed few new products, they would have earned few hundred crores rather than sweat it out for a mere few lakhs. give some answers- 1Why did australia lost against paki in world cup 2011 as before 1 year during paki tour in australia they white washed paki team in test odi and 20-20 2. WHy did bollinger injured in world cup as in IPL he played superb. 3.During paki and ind match in semi 4 catches dropped by paki played when SRT batting. 4.5 players dropped in final by SRi Lanka and there is no body language seen in final like quarter final and semi final. If these type of thing happen in world cup then there is some doubt.
