Just see Dhoni's innings as a batsman starting from South african tour: 33, 98,35,21,0,DNB,0,16,2,5,74, DNB,28,16,5,0,. with the average of 23.00. Pathetic batting. How can he command a place in the team and how can he be a leader of the team

Agreed on principle of a cricket player. Had he been in Australia or England team he would've been thrown into a dustbin, he is not Mark Taylor or Mike Beyarley.
why the hell he took out praveen kumar out of the attack when he took two wickets in one over and had bowled only two over...what made him rest ishant when he was bowling beautifully in 1st test ( is 40 mins rest not sufficient )
those think it is easy to keep and captain for 2 days..are the main reasons why India does not function as a country. The other reason are those people who keep this job to themselves and dont give others a chance to perform.
1) Schedule needs to be managed well 2) No player except 3-4 senior player will ask for rest, that also whatever works for their advantage not team advantage 3) Younger players can't be expected to play more than 300 days in a year and expected to perform all the time 4) We do not have bench strenth for test cricket, one days and T20 is fine 5) Dhoni is a great ODI and T20 player, does not have the technique to play test match on bouncy and swinging tracks, same applies to Yuvi. Raina still has time to be test match ready. Kohli may be a good option to try. 6) BCCI does not care about its horses, as long as money is coming in, who cares about test cricket performance. IPL is making money, that is what all matters 7) All players say that test match is real cricket but no indian player opted out of IPL to take rest and be prepared for West Indies and England tour 8) At the end of the day, economics runs the game today, even player with crores of rupees of advertising money every year cannot resist free money from IPL

dravid played full IPL matches...and still never missed any test cricket....what happened to others....ENG is playing allmost nonstop cricket....y didnt they complain..???
Dhoni, please donot go on Media's report, and analysis. The media has to sell the news, by making the news more sensational. Defeat is the part of the life. Every time you are winning. If 2 matches are lost that doesnot mean that everything is lost or end of the world.
indian batsmen have to play for long periods of time to make their bowlers tired and also to make their batsmen tired(when the batsmen are tired their feet won't move freely and out, like what happened to indians in second innings) .that's how india got to no.1 position.for the last one year or so indian batting is on decline.only old horses are doing their job well, young batsmen have to learn how to bat at test level.
