Indian Cricket
by vish Nath on Aug 02, 2011 10:43 AM

First cricket in general and Indian cricket in particular should be cleansed of politicians. International cricket is headed by the greedy Sharad Pawar and now BCCI is being headed by Vilasrao Deshmukh another currupt poitician who has been supported by the bigger shark Sharad pawar. Once These money hungry politicians are thrown out of all cricketing offices, Indian cricket will start shining again.

All this proves how big a factor and how dependent are we on our main strike bowler. All the legends batsmen are not much use in conditions that suit bowlers, unless you can apply the same or more pressure as the opposition. We need to rethink the time our bowlers spend out of the team.

BCCI may be very happy with Team India’s recent achieves... yesterday team India degraded to no.3 in ODI ranking tomorrow same things is going to happen in Test ranking also . ... I think players are tired bcz of continues series.. WC. IPL, then WI series.. and now in England,,,,, all the players need some rest.... we have bunch of very good quality players... BCCI should take care their carrier too...

by Anti Semetic on Aug 02, 2011 10:34 AM  | Hide replies

When the Aussies, South Africans and Windies were in their heydays, even a lameduck team of theirs would thrash theShit out of any team (however weak or strong). Thats what is called the real championship spirit!!!

And missing the 3 of the best players of India???!!! Barring Sehwag, they are NOT the 3 of the best players in the world!!! Stop glorifying this FLAT-TRACK ZERO-SWING DEAD-PITCH T20 set of swash bucklers!!!

Varun, if had spent time seeing the indian team in action, u wouldnt have said this. usually batting, or bowling used to click for us. in these 2 matches, nothing did except for dravid.

lol. fantasy stories are good Mr semitic boy. SA gets crushed by spin even with their best team. As for Aus, the Aus team that started the journey towards No 1 wasnt as strong as the team that formed later on. They had bigger fights and close shaves and defeats to endure before they reached the top and learned to surge ahead of the rest. That did not happen with turning a switch on like you think.

no money no game
by supdt palamau on Aug 02, 2011 10:33 AM

It is clear by the attitude of Indian Batsman playing in England that they play for money not for the country. It is quiet possible that if they hve been paid equivalent to the IPL India might have won both the matches. It seems that Dhoni is being Paid half salary of Harbhajan that is why he is being selected even after such disastrous performance.

lol. Indian fans and their immaturity level. England is playing like a team good at home. How they play outside england and against spin is interesting. So No 1 pretenders, yes.

It is very clear the media hype glamour and IPL money have played havoc with Indian top players. Can some one ask Sewag,Bahji ,Dhoni and Zaheer is it more important to play in IPL give more than 100% and get injured so that you donot have to play the for the country. Money is more important than the country.

The luck does not go with the non-performers. See the record of Dhooni in this series. He has not performed at all. He has completely lost his touch, may be because of pressure.
