make Anil Kumbale a Fielding coach. His ability to get down on his knees 1st to field the ball is really entertaining & innovative.

already coach has been selected. What is the use of talking now dragging other names like Gavaskar is saying. He wants to be in the press for one reason or other.

Congrajulations for finding an opportunity to deliver your advice in the national TV and in the process creating a unwanted discussion. Indian cricket team has reached to nother level of performance wherein the requirement is knowing methods and strategies to retain the position, espeacialy since a big series is comin up in the 2011 against England & Australi.

coach for indian cricket team
by shridhar ramiah on Apr 28, 2011 04:10 PM

Lalit Modi or Suresh kalmadi should be coach as BCCI is interested in minting money & these two along with ex-BCCI chief Sharad Pawar are masters in doing that

Sunny's comments are illogical.
by Surya Prakash on Apr 28, 2011 04:10 PM

Gavaskar was the who recommended Gary Kirsten couple of years back to the BCCI. Where was his logic at that time ? Why did he not feel Amarnath was fit enough to coach India at that time ? This time around, probably BCCI has not taken Gavaskar's opinion or recommendation. he is a guy with a big ago and is now making comments against Duncan's choice. Has it not been proved twice (John Wright & Gary Kirsten) that coaches from outside India do a better job. This is probable because they have no air about themselves and just go about their job professionally which is required to handle the Indian Cricket stars (not players).

What about Rahul Amul Gnadhiji or Sonia Gandhiji. In case of money matter, they are best competitor.

they were considered and opted out as they felt that in the balance time left to govern they might as well pick up a bigger and a bettery booty in a few other scams which will soon come around. yes, they were undoubtedly the best choice but their man in-charge sor such matters mr.kalmadi is now in CBI custody and they do not trust sharad pawar...the maratha strongman as this is his territory
