I thought Stephen Fleming would have been a better choice since he is already working with Dhoni for chennai superkings and he being a low profile guy.i fear Fletcher might go the Chappel way. i hope i am proved wrong.

Amarnath was avilable now and in the past also. In the past he was compared with Gary and Gary was choosen over him. This time Amarnath is better than Duncan i what Gavaskartrying to say.
Wonder what makes SG make such strange suggestions and generate unnecessary controversies. Generally it is found that when Indian team would be struggling and needing valuable technical advice he would write columns on Pakistan or English cricket. Now when the BCCI seems to have homed in to a good coach he is unnecessarily stirring the cricket pot for nothing.
