Have the Aussies fixed their matches?
by Great Akbar on Apr 04, 2011 01:26 AM  | Hide replies

The ease with which Pakis , Indians and Zimbabwe played the assies, my gut feeling is that Aussies have started fixing matches.
They have learned from their South asian friends in IPL that it is easy to get the results you want.
Wait a few weeks... and You will see someone pointing his finger at Ponting. HAnsie Cronje "hated losing" without a reason. Next is Ponting. This bet was higher than SA.

Do you mean Aussie could have won the world cup if they had not fixed the match? Akabar, why don't you have soft corner for pakis? Don't you think pakis could have won this cup if matches were not fixed? On that same line Bangladesh could have won the world cup if they did not fixed the match.

Hi Manjit, no indian (not even news channels )believed when hansie cronje story when he was accused by delhi police of having fixed the matches. So strong is the idea of white man's incorruptibility in our mind as a result of our colonial past, i will not blame you for refusing to believe that Aussies fixed the matches. Look at Aussies Zimbabwe match. Had that been Pakis, the whole world would be nailing them.
The old horses of Aussies, had their last chance of making a few millions and they have done that in a convincing way. The Zimbabwe match was only a smokescreen, so that there are no questions asked when lost to pakis.

Who says so? We are very good at indoor family sports as per census. We have just reached 1.21 billion mark as per 2011 census.

Manjit your mind is shallow and hollow , just because i used the name "akbar" you assumed I am muslim. I am a hindu brahmin atheist.. Akbar was not muslim for yor info.He founded his own religion after losing trust on islam. You have even got your basic history lessons wrong Manjit. You have a long way to go to develop debating skills. Read books and may be ask a history teacher to babysit for you. That will be a good start.

If you buy some time on a channel, and get 40K odd people to stadium and another 20 million to watch on Television, she would just do it.
You should not call this President Rubberstamp. She is rubber-spined animal (species AICC).
One important thing : You have to prepare Tadka dal without mirchi if you want her to be at dinner. No butter please, it makes the place stink after she has finished. She is farting champion.

Akbar has a very valid point.
Geewiz, which sport do Indians follow the most ?

Forget that, Congress Wealth Games was held in oct 2010
How many Indians went and saw it ? How good was viewership ?

Don't talk blindly. If the country doesn't show any interest on non-cricket sports, what can anyone do ?

Trying to help the president cover up
by Great Akbar on Apr 04, 2011 01:04 AM  | Hide replies

As you can see in this picture, Our president is struggling to cover her body with a long arm blouse and a saree wrapped around her head. It is like Lays potato chips, lot of packing but only a little inside.
We should gift her a burqa as it will help
a) Congress increse their appeal to muslim community.
b) We will be able to buy her cheaper clothing from indian tax payer's money since no one will be looking what is beneath the burqua

c) Sonia can also buy a burqa and do some impersonation and be the President of India.

thanks taklu for your encouragement. I am frustrasted indian citizen. Instead of taking up terrorism to vent my anger, i have chosen the rediff forums.

To make matters worse, my boss (a european lady like Sonia) is breathing on my shoulders.

akash. Good news my boss is leaving her job soon. The solution for a bad boss is to kick he/she out rather than you quitting the job.
Extrapolating your theory, just because Manmohan is a chamacha PM for Soniya will you quit the contry or wait for the next election?
Your point taken, but action rejected.

Sachin, Gavaskar, Kapil, Ravi Shastri are anti-social.
Without voluntarily retiring, they've denied/deprived opportunities to young Muslims/Christians/Anglo-Indians/Sikhs/BC/SC/ST cricket players.

We should have reservation in Indian cricket team as well.
SC 15%
ST 10%
OBC 10%
Muslim 10%
Christian 5%

General merit 50%
This will be a good formula.

The question will be what do we do with Wicket keeper? Who should get it since we have only one place.

arrange financial gifts for all the groundsmen and the other stadium workers of all the stadiums where world cup matches had been played.then arrange a meeting between the 1983 and 2011 world cup players and after the meeting kick out sreekanth and yashpal sharma.all the selectors who ran to delhi because the hotel in chandigarh did not give them shelter and for them hotel seats are more important then the vital match against Pakistan---throw them to the gutters.s.pawar and camera pagal rajiv shukla--reduce your damn heavy weight---you are at least 45kg in excess--and avoid all the meeting with the winning team members--you two are disgrace to the game of cricket.
