So it's a team contribution but unfortunately people only remember finals..
In 1983 india can make up to finals because of knock of Kapil Dev against zimbabwe. But people still remember Mohindar Amarnath for his best performance in finals and semi finals..

No please. Even today we remember Kapil's scoring of 175 against Zimbabwe which alone qualified us further and won WC 1983. No Indian will ever forget Kapil's contribution.

Binny, the great alrounder, was called Indian Botham of his times. He was opening bowler and opening batsman of Karnataka. He had the ability to swing the ball on both sides efficiently.
Binny, Madanlal, Kapil and Karsan Ghavri were the one who actually brought fast bowling in India.

Tendulkar, with long of history of playing cricket in general and WC matches in purticular did not contribute any thing significant for WC 2011 victory. The true credit should go to Yuvaraj, Zaheer, Gautam,Dhoni and others. Only unnecessary hypes were praised on Tendulkar. Thank God! That did not affect other player's morale and performance. The hard won WC 2011 should be displayed at the office of BCCI and it should not adore the show case of Tendulkar

who scored against AUS in QF and Pak in SF? without that Playing in Final was impossible.Jealous of tendulkar? Difference between 1996,2003 and now 2011 is that this time 11 players played in 1996 and 2003 it was just Sachin who was playing.Cricket is team sport.Just hitting winning runs or playing in final do not make the efforts of others NIL.

and Ur father Sachin inspired so many youngsters.Read Today's article on UK website The Telegraph how Sachin inspired Yuvi,Kholi,Dhoni and zaheer.Do u think all of them are fool to dedicate this cup to Sachin?ifs and buts are not there.what if gambhir got out? What if Dhoni was unlucky to runout? We would have lost.. BUt cricket is game of chance and we won yesterday.Enjoy the win instead of being jealous of Tendulkar.

The general feeling is he always worried about his individual milestones like scoring his 100th century. But for Yuvaraj's steering in group matches we wouldn't have reached this stage. Ask Ganguly about his wc 2003 performance

General feeling comes from losers like u.He is an opener so his role is to lay foundation.Every match he cant score big.Law of averages catches up.Dhoni was big failure and luck made him score yesterday.Tendulkar made good runs in QF and SF without which it was impossible to play in final.Problem is people like u think that scoring wining runs in FINALS is ultimate yardstick to see who is better.Seems u know better than LARAIMRAN KHAN RICHARDS SOBERS WAUGH and many other players who say Sachin is greatest cricketer ever.

Mr. Sridhar Raghunatha Rao, I have seen so many idiots like on rediff. Why are you all against Sachin? Most of you are pessimists who want to gain publicity by writing something against a person who has performed for the country. The most common thing people say is that he is playing for his own individual scores. Dont these scores add up to the team total. On a pitch which was detiorating against Pakistan he was the highest scorer at 85 when the second highest score was 53 from both the teams(Dont talk about 4 lives, even Bradman has 99.96% with lot of lives) I am not saying we won becuase of Sachin. Cricket is played by 11 people. It is a team sport. Even Kapil dev's 175 would not be possible without Kirmani's 24 N.O. at the other end. It is not only the 11 players but the Coach, Trainer, Physiotherapist and other support staff who are also responsible for the victory (Sachin was humble enough to thank them). Dont write off Sachin's contribution becuase you want to gain cheap publicity. Let us be true Indians and applaud him for his efforts for over 21 years to the country. When all cricketing greats hail him as the greatest what credibility (except writing on rediff because it is free and any one who has studied 2 nd class can write) do you have to write against him. Mend your ways or somebody will hit you in life for this pessimism, from which you cant recover nor anybody from your family can save you. Also he was the leading Run scorer and Man of Tournament in 2003 when India was in Finals... so who made these contributions??? Sachin... I think this guy has forgotten the match between England and South Africa where Sachin scored Centuries and rest could not score so we lost...England it was tie...just remove Sachin's runs from these 2 matches and then see whether these scores were enough??

After feilding 4 hrs continuously they were tired & Sachin was fielding at the boundary & running all around like 22 yr old boy..... both should sit in dressing room for last SL 5 overs..
Sachin's goal should not be l00th Century,it will come on it's natural course,but it should be for higher goal. how to keep the flame of world Cup alive ,and next world cup should not take 28 years for to recapture.It should come after every four years to India.He has every thing on his side ,fame,money ,contacts,he has to just plan and execute whole nation or the world is behind him.
This team realized, he will jus play all the 11 players and get the world cup back home if they dont perform. Now they did it... What is that Rajni Cant?
