point no. 2 is not correct. teams are selected before toss not after. so his decision was made before toss.
Let me congratulate the Indian cricket team, I am so proud and HAPPY for my country and for these players. This is a great victory and a very very happy occasion; a lot of us on these forums are quite critical of a number of things but at the end we all love our country and love this team. A great world cup, and again a great victory. Happy celebrations to all my Indian brothers.Jai Hind!!!

what the hell you foolish is doing here instead of doing some work and saving some money, commenting over a comment on cricket world cup news?
maybe you have notice or not ...india lives in cricket,...nothing in our mundane lives brings us so much joy as seeing our team win ...also cricket is highly lucrative business in india...
so i want all of you to voice this request for a NATIONAL CRICKET INSTITUTE
let players enjoy for now....but team management BCCI and sports ministry eeediots listen up
we want a professional national cricket institute comprising of former players and managers of repute plus phisoptherapists and strategists as faculty to train new talent, rehab the injured players and provide professional players to national team ....
we want national cricket institute NOW ... are you listening sports minister ?
institute which gives diploma courses in various aspects of the game, should have competent faculty and all facilities including physios and doctors and medical facilities to treat special injuries players sustain....

Except for the diploma courses you mentioned , we already have a National Cricket Academy in Bangalore . It's run in Chinnaswamy stadium by the BCCI . It trains fresh talent and also looks after rehabilitation of injured players . Till he took over as KSCA chief Anil Kumble was the chairman , so they do have a distinguished faculty ( other former playerstoo help out ) . Besides the state associations are supposed to start state academies within a stipulated time period . Many already have these .

We've some rising, upcoming batting stars.. but our fast bowling arsenal looks depleted.. they need to dig up at least 3-4 good replacements for Zaheer, Sreeshant & Nehra..
1. These days, no player has a permanent place in the team for which he has to perform otherwise be ready to perish in the next game. Even today, if Dhoni had not played well and India losing the match would have led the selectors to think something seriously. I am sure Sreeshant may be axed. All these factors together are leading to India's win.
2. Srilanka's 274 was not good enough to defend. It should have been close to 300.
3. Murali should have been introduced in the 47th over.
4. Dhoni's average will be 30 in the world cup. So based on his batting merit alone, he is unfit. Sourabh Ganguly was ousted in the similar circumstances. But selectors are all having very soft corner for Dhoni.

ya sure.. a cheater trying to make amends to the people on whose generosity he can earn the IPL riches..
By cheating at toss today, Sanga has proven that he is the WORST person to captain any test playing nation at the current moment.
