Agreed with points 3 and 4, but 1 and 2, from where to get, if there are none at the domestic level?

Still needs inspiration to beat an under-strength Australian side
by Manu Zach on Sep 30, 2010 12:13 AM  | Hide replies

The present Australian team is nowhere near the team which lost to Indian 1-2 in 2001 or beat India in the next series in 2004-'05.
Yet the Indian team needs inspiration..that too from a series played way back in 2001.
These are those rare years when a team like India can really dominate the Aussies. Once the ageing stalwarts retire and the new Aussie players gain more experience... We all know what would happen. So..

India's Batting vs India's Bowling
by Rajan S on Sep 30, 2010 12:04 AM

The fact about our cricket team is that, we have a talented and skillful batting line-up but a hopeless bowling attack. We must actually realize how great the indian batsmen were over the years. Bcoz, for eg: everytime when they are batting first in an ODI, they have a target of atleast 300 runs in order to carry any hope of an upset victory. And vice versa, when they are chasing, they will always be confronted with a target of not less than 300. Considering this scenario which our batsmen have been facing over the years, we must actually award khel ratna for each of them for their brave and gutsy performances.
But thanks to mr srikanth, who has been heading our selction panel for the last one and a half years, we have begun to be vulnerable in the batting department also

Don't carry hopes on such hopeless cases. Bcoz firstly, Its overtime, that we pack off bhajji from the national team and let him start from the scratch by playing in ranji trophy. Even if he takes some wickets in this series, on the wickets that are tailor made for him, that will not solve india's problems in the long term bcoz he has proven tat he is not a wicket taking bowler as the people and the media has made him out to be. SECONDLY, India's bowling attack on the whole is sub standard compared to international standards

MR RAJAN WHY ARE U SO JEALOUS OF BHAJJI HE HAS OVER 600 WKTS GO AND SEE HOW MANY BOWLERS HAVE IN INDIA. YES KAPIL AND KUMBLE, THATS IT SO KEEP UR TRAP SHUT AND DONT TALK NONSENSE. U DONT BECOME A LEGEND LIKE THAT. BHAJJI HAS WON TONS OF MATCHES FOR INDIA B'COZ HE IS A BRAVEHEART WHO SNATCHES WIN FROM THE JAWS OF DEFEAT. IF WE ANOTHER PLAYER LIKE HIM WE WOULD HAVE BEEN UNDISPUTED CHAMPS IN ODI,S ALSO. DONT BE JEALOUS OF BHAJJI HE IS WORLD CLASS AND A PROVEN MATCH WINNER

Abey idiot, have you even held a cricket ball your entire life? Bhajji is one of the best bowlers India has had, apart from Zaheer Khan of course, who shares the onus of winning India test matches. A bowler with 600 test wickets..and you! Just go! Never again be seen in this blog. I am warning you.

when viru is there, why bother about others. whether test cricket or ODI,we need entertaining cricket. this can be provided by none otehr than viru. lets the aussies come with bodyline or beamers or rib cages, the more fast they bowl at him,the willow of viru will punish it with double teh speed..watch out of viru..

India might loose 3-0 or 2-0
1. Very poor bowling attack
2. Gambhir in lacklusture form
3. Dravid not even 30% of what he used to be
4. No all rounder
5. Poor fielding
