Its good for him if they have removed him because only chamcha's and cheap and brokers like shukla,shastri have rights to become and are right one too for IPL councels.
If gavaskar made to serve Indian Cricket the team will be as follows 1.Sachin Tendulkar ( captain) for life long 2.Wasim Jaffer 3.A.Rahane 4.Rohit Sharma 5.A.Mozumdar remaining 6 players are also from Useless Maharashtra particlarly Mumbai So, gavaskar is selfish and a pure actor. So gavaskar should be given commentary job only

most of the politicians spend 10s of crores and their partoes in 1000s of crores to serve the nation by becoming MLAs or MPs and ministers! Gavaskar's readiness to serve Indian cricket free of charge, pales into insignificance.
Why ex-cricketers should not be paid? BCCI is just like profit making company and earning millions of Rs.through cricket and advertisement,sponsership. Why experienced cricketers should work free from them? If BCCI declares himself charity organisation and donates entire earning then any body would be ready to serve free. I support Gavaskar if he asked for money. --Anil
power corrupts..everyone know that gavaskar, shastri belong to a strong mumbai lobby.to maintain mumbai's supremacy in indian cricket.they need a mumbai presence in bcci. hence gavaskar will do anything to be in power..he is cancer of indian cricket.make no mistake.influencing media, cricket with his commentary, articles etc. sadly, because of him, people like kapil,bedi, amarnath are no way close to indian cricket nowadays.

The guy has got talents , if the guys u mentioned dont have it in them whts Sunny's fault..Bedi talks stupid all the time, Kapil is not at all a good communicator..He was great player but communication...no way. Amarnath..hummmmm was good player but u think he willl get any attention after he said Selection Board "Bunch of Jokers"...??? If Sunny is cancer you must be dead brain...

You have hit the Jack Pot. Nobody does charity and not a conniving guy like Gavaskar, he will be paid. The INDIAN Cricket board is corrupted wiht regionalism and this is not fair. What is the role of the SPORTS MINISTER ?? South Indian cricketers are good.
