if vijay fails in t20 he gets chance in odi if he fails in odi..he gets chance in tests..why not ravindra jadeja...he has proved his test capabilities in test cricket..
even abhinav mukund is better opener for tamilnadu than vijay and where is badrinath...

murali is from tamilnadu and mr k shrikanth is in selector team, this understanding not complete anybody
i hv read his article when he was a teenager playing jr ckt n had dreamed abt playing test matches (not merely in odi or t20). n he has worked hard. playing jr wc - becoming player of series. playing longer innings in all categories of ckt whether A tours, or ranji trophy matches. it was mainly on contribution from him that unknown team Saurashtra came to semis in ranji trophy n became winner of ranji odi trophy. best of luck to him.

i agree. pujara is best among the new crop. better than much hyped rohit, n even raina. how can one forget raina's wi debacle.
It is heartening to see Cheteshwara Pujara being rewarded with a Test Cap for consistent performances in domestic cricket in the last few seasons. I hope he gets ample opportunities to prove his mettle unlike Badri whose career has been wrecked because of the selectors preference for flamboyant cricketers like Raina/Yuvraj who are in the Test side because of their performances in ODIS, T20s and IPL. I hope he is not discarded after a Test or two and replaced by "IPL wonders" like Tiwary/Rayadu/Uthappa/Pandey/Pathan etc.
C. Pujara will warm the bench, never get a chance till atleast 2 of the big 3 retire. Sachin and VVS are in awesome form this year, let us see if Rahul gets his batting form or hv 2 fill the retirement form.

Kapil can i let u know that till date in tests Sreesanth is having good records then Ishant..How i tell u... Shreesanth has played 17 tets for India and he took 60 Wickets at avg. 32.01, 2 times 5 wickets haul and 2 times man of the match. Now for Ishant Sarma has played 26 Tests for India and he took 73 wickets at an avg. 37.51 and 1 time 5 wickets haul. This statistics shows that Sreesanth records is much higher then Ishant in tests. but at the end of the day team management will decide who will play Sreesanth or Ishant. Ishant nowdays not even deserve a place in the playing 11. tell me wht he had done after 2008 series againt Australia at home????
