I think he should not play in world cup, becasue individually he can not win WC for India and people will say again 'Sachin could not win WC for India' which is impossible for any individual, OZ could be able to win the WC not because of riky of mat hayden or Pigeon but they won 3 times because of strong team effort.

dear Neha you need to go to basics of cricket which 11 players game, you meant to fielder and bowlers and other batsman did not have any role in that game
as u told in ur earlier comment that for any youngster t20 is the best platform...but do u really think so...the ultimate aim for any player is to play for India...and any player cannot be judged on the performances of T20..examples are yusuf pathan,rohit sharma,jadega..these all players got chance by playing in the IPL where they were impressive but see then what happened when they played for India....so sachin is doing the right thing byallowing players to play international ODIs so that they can be ready for the future..

IF INDIA LOSES TOOM MANY GAMES B4 THE WORLD CUP IT IS NOT GOOD FOR TEAMS MORAL. SO SACHIN SHOULD PLAY IN ODIs B4 THE WC. HE CAN TAKE REST IN 1 OR 2 LEAGUE MATCHES IN TRI NATIONS OR AFTER WINNING A SERIES.ALSO HE SHOULD NOT PLAY IN ANY TYPE OF 20-20 MATCHES.
is reached at the level when you criticize him you get attention same as when you criticize big player or celebrity you get attention. but you have all rights to criticize him, because he always gives you answer with his bat like yesterday he did

Understand that he wants to give other players a chance to show if they are good enough to play at international level. He is leaving one place for other players. I think he is doing it right.
Here in CL he isn't blocking anyone's place even if he is it really doesn't matter.
I think he should only play important series against stronger opponents and prolong his career.

thoughts from common man good, but here you need to understand the stamina of 37 yrs old gentleman with more then 20 yrs of continuous play, in fact he is giving chance to young lot of Indians to play for nation and perform. and yes he is preserving his game so that his career can go longer

FOR YOUNGSTERS THE BEST PLATFORM IS 20-20. AND IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE U R NOT PLAYING FOR THE NATION!he can preserve his career by not playing in 20-20 and giving chance to youngsters, as he is not a part of t-20 INDIAN side.
absence cost dearly to MI, Sachin-Ramesh-Tendulkar and big Polary MI did not have ig hitting player and Tiwari with his stong hitting could make the difference.

see comrade T-20 is a game uncertainty, on your day you can pick 5 and on your off day you will go for 50. but yes if you have lethal yorker with awkward action you can make the difference

yes u can say that, but when i will put this degree "Great" then some may have objection but Good will not generate any noise
1.poor decision to bowl first on a flat pitch.. 2.giving mClaren to bowl only one over(not sure he sustained an injury after bowling the first over) 3.introduction of spin in the 3rd over.. 4.shikan dhawan played very slow in the powerplays.. 5.poor fielding which sachin already mentioned 6.a lack of geninue allrounder..(i dont consider pollard and harbhajan an allrounder)
overall except Sachin no one performed to their potential....

you are right, 9 bowlers are used. difficult to understand when u have 5 regular bowlers what is the need of using part timers. poor captaincy when u selected Mclaren as bowling allrounder over batting allrounder Bravo and give only 1 over to Mclaraen is absolutely foolish.
The major reason for the defeat of Mumbai Indians is the poor team combination. It is high time to throw out Satheesh from the team. Where is Bravo and Tiwary????

Yes, except for Sachin and Pollard, none of the other batsmen looked capable of some quick runs. IPL teams have 4/5 useless players in each team bue to poor quality of first class cricket in India. Even unknown players in SA, AUS, ENG teams are capable. Even their average bowlers can bowl to field and yorkers. Indians are a bunch of overrated players and good for nothings.

when sachin plays i aways remember atal bihari who adviced his to play till last ball when india lost to australia in round matches by 200 runs & indians were burning posters of all team. so sachin took atalji advice very seriously and sailed india to finals & man of series awards for sachin but unfortunately sachin could not play 143 & 144 sharjah type knocks but got out on just 4 and india 240
