This is a Technology used by Sky Sports and It will show just like a Negative image so that the edge or any contact with the bat will be clearly indicated in White while other part in black. So we can easily find the Edge even very thin using Slow Motion but this is costly one

Sachin will be adversely affected with UDRS
by Indian Saint on Sep 07, 2010 01:21 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is a strong opponent of UDRS. Every one knows that the umpires, as human they are, give wrong decisions. but then, the bias is awlays in favour of the 'big' players such as Sachin and go against certain small players like Dinesh Karthik. There is empirical evidence to support this.

Another important point: with restricted UDRS options, opponent teams will use it against big players like Sachin and not waste against a tail ender.

u must know that Sachin is getting wrong decisions many times against him.So why should he oppose UDRS.Tell me

simply because, more than these times when he gets wrong decision, he is also given not out by those umpires yhat stand in awe of him. Now the opposition teams have a far chance with UDRS

Right then Sachin is the one who Says If you use technology use it fully and use Hot spot which is the most perfect tool for finding the edge.

The message is clear, don't jump half well since still u will fall in to the well.

Right, got the point?

The 'star' players like Sachin will be more affected than the 'non star' minnow players. You can not avoid common sense!
I have never seen Sachin 'walk', even have seen Dhoni walk a few times.

Why should he walk when a umpire is there to Give it as Out and Sachin Would have been Given out wrongly more then 50 times in his career that time the opposite captain or Bowlers said, Oh well u r not out go and Bat? Have a common sense first and how many times Sachin used UDRS So far? If you have eye just review the Lanka Series 2008 and you will find Sehwag Given out Wrongly and While Dilshan was originally Out has changed it using UDRS due to no Snicko used. So get your facts right and mind you , don't jump the half well

But this 2 are the worst cheaters in the world. There is a Umpire to give Wicket even if they doesn't walk but then They Appeal for all when there is clearly a Inch or two b/w the bat and ball to get a Wicket is the Biggest cheat of all. Get the point now

right then he is not in the Panel of ICC elite umpiring so anyway he can't do umpiring in any ICC Events. He can be used as a Home umpire for their Home ODI series only.

Strange to say Knock Out games only!!!!
by n_saloni_c n_saloni_c on Sep 07, 2010 12:42 PM  | Hide replies

There are only 7 Knock Out game (4Q 2S 1F). I don's understand with such a big tournament why only for 7 matches!! Also why India is not testing this technology in the upcoming series to see the reliability??
