Even Test Matches..
by Bene Izraeli on Sep 07, 2010 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

must be altered now. spectator is the king. if he finds no taste in test, its gona die someday. instead why not make it tasty??? restrict EACH inning to only 90 overs with powerplays. however if for any reason WHATSOEVER, the match is not completed within the stipulated 4 /5 days, then either it should be played UNTIL a win or lose decision is obtained OR a decision of win or lose must be given by some formula similar to duckworth lewis or fokworth lewis. 'DRAW' must never be the end of a test. this word should go into history books now. even more peppy things like free hits can also be included if need be, to make test really tasty. otherwise, in times to come, there will be only cameramen and players on the grounds for tests. Viva India!

You think test will die but most other don't. It may be one day international matches in which people may lose interest.

If all the one day international or t20 stuff is to be included in test match then where will be the REAL TEST.

I don't like T20 much. It's like a lottery game.Wehave many players who achieved something in T20 but are failing in other formats. ODI and Tests require skills.

No need to watch complete match.within some time from start, you will know when the match will be interesting. I do that..when it's boring, just sleep off for an hour.

Hellos to all.Test cricket will never die my friend. Every brand of cricket has it's own followers. Yes,due to paucity of time and other reasons, people have started watching it on TV which has got it's own charm. Rather than going to the stadium, I lke to watch it on TV..all formats.

Indian team is not too keen on using UDRS
by Sports Lover on Sep 07, 2010 03:03 PM  | Hide replies

is because I think they have not been able to make better use of it. In Sri lanka series they were on the receiving end and used all their reviews badly. Sri lankans on the other hand used it to their advantage and reviewed only when needed.

Cricket is a lesser sport and more of CASINO

Cricket is a lesser sport and more of a CASINO now a days....it is played mostly unofficially among private CLUB-HOUSES with pseudo nationals and gamblers. Players are coins and penny-hunters.
