What record is Gambhir talking about?
If Players dont perform on field-then where will be coach?
Its the team which is doing well and the coach is doing his job.

India winning percentage is awesome in his period. We won some historical series. No controversy at all. Healthy atmosphere in dressing room.

we havent won series in south africa,australia,england..how gary has proved as coach? gambhir is out of form..so he needs to talk like this to hold his place like bhajji does..what if gambhir fails in upcoming series and world cup...then kirsten will say we need gambhir even after world cup..

my dear just remember chappel took our game 10 yrs back, he ruined gangulys career otherwise ganguly wd have made 10000 runs, kirsten is far better than chappel, secondly ganguly made this team and dhoni only got ready food, so real credit to maje India world champs goes SAURAV GANGULY AND THE N ALL THE PLAYERS IN LAST 10-20 YEARS

Bhajji, Yuvraj, Zaheer and Sehwag are only players who established during Ganguly time.

Raina, Virat, Dhoni, Gambhir, M.Vijay, P.Ojha, R.Ashwin, Ishant, Sreesanth etc all established after Ganguly era.

NZ and srilanka are weak teams....if we win series in australia and south africa...then only kirsten can be good coach and we deserves to be no 1...why gambhir need to talk like this when he is out of form

But you should know the value of these series as well. How many teams have beaten srilanka in Srilanka in ODI series. Even SA yet to win an ODI series in Srilanka. After how many years India won asia cup. After how many years India won an ODI series against Aus in India. When something come after many year, it is important achievement.

Coach

A coach is only as good as his players. John Buchanan is the best example of this. He was considered the best coach when he was incharge of Australia because Australia was doing so well, but everything flopped once he joined KKR.

Totally disagree. I don't believe in the theory that coach and captain is as good as team. This theory says a poor team can't have good captain or coach which is wrong.
