Ricky (Under 16 ) was playing under Captaincy of Adam Gilchrist. When Sachin did his first tour of Australia that time Ricky is one of the finest player in Australian domestic Circle. He knew abt Sachin thattime & to watch him he took permission from his board since he has to move with his team to play another match at domestic level.....Although Ricky is one of the compitator of Sachin but he too inspire & admire him.
I don't see him as a captain. He is a batsman and achieved almost all things which a newcomer dreams. He is a key batsman of Australia from 3 era's(M.Taylor, S.Waugh and R.Ponting himself). His place was never under threat throughout his career. That is very big thing in Aussies competitive cricket.

bhajji has dismissed him the most times compare to any other bowler and then ishant and murali later being the next best
