ICC should be the sole authority to decide on the nature of wicket to be prepared with no interference from boards of the country if it want test cricket to last another decade. The type of dead wickets dished out by most curators in all test playing countries to help batsman has killed the interest of paying public in this format of game. The biggest culprits are Asian test playing countries where Captain decides the type of wicket for contest to suit its team.Let this farce of dead wickets be brought to an end or else cricket will be played with machines bowling to so called modern Bradmans of Asian cricket who have amassed runs with able assistance from curators.
why cant a good bowling squad be choosen? A good team is that which comprises of more number of allrounders then the number of batsman.shewag, youraj, tendulkar, harbhajan, prawin kumar, rena, dhoni, munaf patel, laxman, ojha, nehra or zaheer or any other specialist fast bowler,,,,

well, if you bowl around 140kmph with reverse swing, it must be interesting to watch the batsmen even on a flat track
This was the match? Team India was able to snatch all 20 wickets of Australia, but could not get the NZ wickets! Indian pitches were made or according for Indian bowlers. But this match was end as a draw. If India has 100 runs lead in 1st Inning, They should be try to stop NZ between 200 to 250. But this time bowlers did not perform or the pitch was not supported them! At last, Harbhajan and McCullum batted very well. Both were played good innings and made bowlers failed to perform their best. In the bowlers department for India, Zaheer and Ojha did something more than others. In the field of bowling, Harbhajan could not impress. And what did Dhoni as a batsman in 1st match and this match; not able to perform. AT last, SADA Sachin could not get his 50th century. We should wait for another Test match. Looking for Nagpur match. Will India will be able to win? All depends on bowlers, is it? MS

Oomshik Tooshik
And since he did not excel, that is exactly what you did NOT get - i.e. good time... :)
Now go vent your frustration of seeing a useless Sehwag scoring a century to draw a test and play for selfish records.... a selfish Laxman ensuring India drew the first test instead of letting New Zealand win.... a selfish Harbhajan who was more interested to register his centuries rather than concentrating on his bowling.. etc. etc. etc. :)

Perfect timing. Now usually Tendulkar comes in and hit a cracker in a no-result.
Damn! Match declared drawn with 1.5 hrs left for some pressure free batting!
Shastri, Bhogle and SMG have appealed to the umpire to extend the match play time.

:) How does it feel to have a selfish Sehwag scoring centuries to draw test matches? How does it feel to have useless players like Laxman who are more interested in adding to their personal records and drawing the first test rather than letting New Zealand win? :) Or a non-bowler Bhajji who is interested in scoring selfish centuries which don't help India win? :)
Nice to see all your "heroes" come undone in a space of two tests... :)
except dhoni who managed to score quickest 50s in t20 format of games but fail miserably in test as individual batsman however cris gayle every body else feel that they are in jail when cris gayle sail the boat cris gayle must have created history of breaking his own brother Brian Lara record of 400 good luck next innings. gail-jail-sail what a poem i wrote! hats off cris we all indians love thou! cris gayle innings is only compared with don dradman, sehwag, garry sobers so he is simply great indian due to due to IPL links

Indian team management shud think on how to phase out the 3 stalwarts in phases and one by one . And groom smart hard working , willing to grind self , players into the test team . Else we shall face the same consequesce that Australia (Test team) is facing these days . Mc Grath , Gilcrist , Hayden , Wanrne - all match winners were out at the same time . Australia could have suffered one exit at a time but to deal with all 4 at a time has dented their performance majorly . Its high time Indian Team MAnagement take a lesson from this and plan accordingly .

match is drawn because of bowlers. without above trio india cannot manage even draw. as per you the batting dept. which is only good should also be made week so india start losing consistently like pakistan.
