This was the game plan wen dravid was playing. Steady mornig blues so that bazzi and others can hit in the afternoon-wen pitch dries up.

hats off to you very very special ,laxman for world cup
by sher khan on Nov 14, 2010 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

in my opinion selectors should give a chance to v.v.s.laxman in the world cup team he deserves a place in world cup , grt batsman ,he is best in the indian team .other seniors players in indian team has played over 360 1day international why not laxman.
i hope selectors will give him a chance this time.Ganguly and greg chappel is the one who damage laxman. throwing him out from 1 day team ,but later greg chappel clearly mentioned in the writeen statement ganguly is the one tld him nt include laxman in the world cup team. i hope selectors give a close look for our very very very special batsman .
cricketers should be cricketers not the politicians.

if very very selfish laxman is in 1-day team then india will score 150 runs for loss of 5/6 wkts with laxman remaining no on 53 of 140 balls to hold indian inning together...

laxman is a good batsman but lacks others skills that are vital to a one a player.he is an excellent test player but quite doesn't fix into the shorter formats.he is exactly the opposite of shahid afridi

You moron... Do you believe what greg chappel has to say ? When Ganguly was capt every one blamed him for showing how to win.. Even now they keep blaming him for having built a fantastic team that got us to where we are...

Why blame Ganguly???

In 2007 WC ,Dravid was captain & Greg was the Manger(or damager)..still Laxman was not selected & result was pathetic..India was out in first round!!!!!!!

In 2003 WC when Ganguly was Captain India was in finals first time after 1983!!!!

LAXMAN IS SURELY UNDERATED AND A GREAT PLAYER.........

BCCI is biggest manipulator of cricket with politicians and cheaters heading it.........

He is very good player, but he is not click or lucky in shorter versions. We given him lot of chances. But selectors should includes these seniors in the W.C. squad.

Kapil Dev who won us world cup in 1983 was removed from captaincy in 1984.......

Azhar was captain for 10 years and he captained 3 world cup....India could harldy go beyond 2nd round..Still the fixer was retained for 10-12 yrs......whereas best captains like Kapil Pa ji & Sourav were humilited as they performed and got the best result...

Shameful BCCI.....

by krishna ramesh on Nov 14, 2010 06:01 PM  | Hide replies

Our great players throwing the vickets looks like they dont have patience
if they loose wicket for good bal fine but simply going for rash drive look at sachin sewag or any other player
wE HAD ADVANTAGE FOR GOING BIG SCORE AGAINST NZ BECAUSE LACK OF PATIENCE THEY LOST VICKET
BCCI SHOULD STOP FURHER TOUR OUR PLAYERS ARE OVERBURDEN WITH TOUR
