guess you haven't watched Dravid play outside India. Dravid's role is not to accelerate but steady the boat.
He frustrates not only opposition, but also the spectators and has negative impact on his team members (except Sehwag, who will never change his style even for thisMoron)

Dravid belongs to the era where kings kept on playing even for 4,5,6 days not getting out. When you are not able to finish your innings, how are you gonna get the opposition out twice as you must know that to win a test match you need to get the opposition out twice. Thanks to Dravid you take such a long time to finish your own innings that there is little or no time left to get the opposition out twice. What a help Dravid is. Dravid is the perfect example of what is not needed in any form of cricket. ICC should ban such players to maintain the popularity of test cricket.

boss, that is the indian mindset. we innocent ones were told to be like that. our aim was not to loose. What does it mean? you are conceding that opponents were strong. unless you aim to win, how can you win. one of the attitude to win is not afraid of losing. Aussies are golden example of that attitude. So they were champs for 16 yrs.
All time Greatest indian cricketer in only Anil Kumble. He won more number of matches for india than anybody else. Sehwag, dravid, lakshman can be in the top five list. Tendulkar may be in top 10 as far as winning matches are concerned.

Kumble is alltime great for India in match winning. He is also great as a human being. He never made any negative statement even though he was always on trial before start of a series irrespective of his rate of taking 5 wickets per test.
it is sad that blind sachin fans refuse to give credit to sehwag and call him slogger, irresponsible unreliable and what not, when he is one of the major reasons why we have been winning continuosly for past 10 years.
He is the ONLY batsmen in the world who can hit ANY bowler on ANY pitch in ANY situation for 5 runs per over in tests consistently and very easily.

Considering that he chooses to do that on only a handful of occasions (like once in Motera and never against the Aussies in the recent series) proves that he is very selfish by doing it only when it pleases him; not when the team needs it.... right? ;-)
So sachin showed his class today also. It is thanks to sehwag, gambhir, dravid, laxman etc. that we have been winning continuously for the past 10 years. Yet blind sachin fans cannot stop giving credit to sachin for winning matches single handedly for india without any contribution from other 10 players. First of all I don't why are these comments here? the news item relate to Test Match.therfeore comments should have been about cricket. Every body knows DMK fought to Miniistery of Telecommunication. Why becasue they knew and want to make money. People have short memory. they don't remember that at the time of government forming,DMK did not declar its support to UPA till they were confirm about Raja and Balu. MMS wanted both of them out. but only suceeded keeping balu out. It is very easy, to say dismiss Raja. but the fact is DMK is blacmailing Congress that if you do that, we will withdraw our support to UPA. that meanns Government will fall. Well BJP supporters are wishing for that and that why all this bad mouthing agains MMS. I would like to remind BJP support that same type of blackmail was faced by NDA government from AMMA. so it is nothing new. all coalition government are facing same thing. Look at Kernataka Government of BJP. They r being blackmail by Reddy brothers. Poor CM he can cry on TV but can't do any thing

In the past dravid used to play his normal game, by attacking the balls which deserved to be punished, but ever sine he has made a comeback aftr being dropped from the One-dayer's as well as tests he has shifted gears to the lowest possible. No doubt he ahs scored a century in teh last test against NZ. But still is he the same dravid which we knew in the past ?? I think somewhere down the line he is low on confidence to even hit a bad ball to the fence. what can be done ?? we want the DRAVID whom the world has rightly called to be the most Sensible & eligent player in TEST cricket.

Completely agree with you. But I think he still has the ability to score runs at faster rate at least with 1s, 2s. But he is low in confidence probably due to his place in team, thinks that he has to prove on that day and when you have that in mind it doesn't go easy.

It is time to BAN test Cricket forver considering the wastage of millions of man hours by thousands of indians and third world citizens every year and considering the enromous damage done to indian economy and economy of poor countries.Was cricket invented by british to make colonies poor forever by wasting their man power and by making millions of youth lazy and moroonic?Perhaps yes.Only One day cricket macthes and 20 over cricket matches must be allowed and these onde day matches must be played only on week ends or holidays.Shame that our intellectuals and media and patriotic indians did not think for so many decades of agitating for banning boring and anti-economy test matches forever.Shame,Indians,Shame

You are right. With huge amounts in betting & the players under control of D gang(Courtesy Paawar) it is useless from the days of Rajsingh Dungarpur & Azar.
