nonsense! What is the problem with these individuals having a quite evening? These cricketers have a personal life and are allowed to have a quite dinner even if they failed as cricketers.

They need to play their best when they play for country not when they play for IPL..Jadeja will play only in IPL and for country he will drop catches and give sixes and play slowly..I beware him to come in front of me

we can't expect indians to win everything. their record in 2009 is very good except world tournaments only. problem is with fans and not the players. they are playing for money and also would make money. we're not australians to have the mental toughness and physical fitness, we're emotional and carbohydrated.

also, if someone abuse you in the bar, anyone could react. do we restrict ourselves because we work in a reputed company and just walk out if someone abuse at us?

anyways, Ravindra Jadeja is useless and can't understand why Dhoni stuck onto him, it was probably the worst strategy that defeated us. Vinay was totally under used, we thought Spin will win the games for us and we had lot of uncooked players otherwise called allrounders. we needed person like irfan pathan who can contribute in someways and on his day a true match winner and is a very disciplined person.

your name says it all as you seem to totally out of your mind. Jadeja is an upcoming young player and he needs encouragement and support.

how many years of encouragement you want to give to Jadeja? He was a utter failure in last year T20 WC and this year too.!!

Do you want to encourage until he hit a 100 one day and that will be his firt and last 100 of his life.

Look at yourself... Jadeja can hit you out of the park with his eyes closed. And can clean bowl you six times in an over. Cut the crap. Everyone goes through a lean patch.

First he denied...!!!
by Abhishek Jain on May 26, 2010 06:16 PM

When this issue was reported in the media, Jadeja, Yuvraj and others completely denied that they had gone to any pub etc. Now after they got a flack from the board, the truth is coming out. He should be asked to stand on one leg for 2 Hours, all the truth will come out....!!!!
When they were not allowed to go out of the hotel after 9.30 PM, what were they doing outside the hotel? Were they living in a zero star hotel which did not have any restaurant? If you are part of a team, you need to follow the rules also.....!!

Give them a break
by A C on May 26, 2010 06:06 PM  | Hide replies

Give the cricketers a break, they are young guys who had gone for dinner, drinks to a pub restaurant where some unruly fans throw abuses anybody would get antagonised, so why shouldn't aggresive sportmen smarting under defeat.

Yes they lost, but we can't accept any such behaviour from anybody whether of Indian origin that too in a foreign country. Surely, the guys who abused them must be laughing away at all the people back in India as well. These guys who have pseudo national pride only about good things about India and are quick to distance themselves from the problems & troubles and expect somebody else to solve them. These are the perpetual fence sitting abusers of India & Indians even if they are of Indian origins. They did not do great service to the country or its reputation by abusing & heckling national cricketers in a Pub in a foreign country and we serve show cause notices to the cricketers expecting unconditional apologies, remorse and public flogging in media.

India is passionate about its cricket. Its not the way they played..Its the way they lost and meekly surendered.I too would have abused them anywhere.Ok if they would have pur up a good fight and lost I would appreciate that.but it was stupidity on the field.Shame on the Indian Cricket team.

Indians should seriously learn to behave...
by cool bloke on May 26, 2010 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

No matter how bad the team may have performed, this is no way to treat players who represent our country. We had better not let emotions overtake our saner senses.

Such uncivilized behavior should not be encouraged because it diverts the attention from the real issue - poor performance of Team India. Now the media is only focusing on this brawl and India's performance in the Caribbean has taken a backseat.
