Its not only battsman's game..Why in last 50 yrs of Indian cricket not a single bouncy wicket is prepared at home?
What takes it to prepare just a practice wicket thats real bouncy..Make these new bunch score on that wicket at least 20 runs (irrespective of how many balls they eat)..
Viv obviously a legend in himself...but we have a doctor at home for short pitch stuff and we are looking elsewhere..
Viv is a born west Indian & was groomed on fast wickets...he had companions like Hall/Joel Garner/ andy Roberts/Malcolm Marshall/Craft/ Davis/Grifith and so on..Against him were Len Pasco/ Thomson/ Lillie/ etc..
But we have a little master at home who scored all his centuries against all odds in West Indies...Why import stuff when you have indigenous /tested weapon available and that too at a distance of a phone call..
Sunil Gavaskar....The man in himself who stood firm against all real pacers..Without Helmet...
BCCI really need to force these yuvis/rainas/gambhirs/ pujara's play on home made fast wickets...invite outside pacers to bowl at them.
This will also give Indian bowlers a chance to bowl on bouncy tracks and develop their own skills...
Invite Viv but don't forget you have a Ph.D person at home..
let richards help WI first, failure in t20 Wc doesnt mean that Indian batting side is poor... still our batsmen r best in test matches and far better dan all oder teams(except aus) in odi...WI desperately needs the valuable advice of this great batsman, specially after retirement of lara...

BCCI should accept his offerand similarly call walsh or ambrose to strengthen the indian fast bowling. These two guys are wasting their time in music etc rather they can help the indian team.
