Wake up Boys Play only for IPL(money) why play for Country?IPL gives Huge Money rather then playing for Country...Keep it up be prepare for next addition
great performance by Team India off the field :) they could manage to thrash someone in West Indies.. All these days, they were thrashed by other teams :)

International cricket is not about nurturing youngsters. That should be done in domestic cricket. International matches should be only about winning. It was crazy with the amount opportunities we wasted on Partiv patel. N Each time it was bacha hain bacha hain. So many missed chances n lost matches. In the end it was a sheer waste of time.

Spot on. Totally agree with you. My comment was more a generalized statement. Also IPL & Playing for country is a different ball game. IPL is just entertainment. Sachin,Rahul Saurav stepped down 3 years back from T20 so let's respect that decision and need to look for future. Its alright to feel sad as Sachin was in such great form (I would have loved to see him on the field) still not playing but to be honest I don't think even that would have made much difference. Its a team game and our team was not upto the mark. Its a total failure of team and they need to rethink the approach.

Sachin would make no difference here. He is a failed batsmen in major tournaments.

Media and cricket fans cann't simply blame IPL for Indian team's problems. Because media only created hype for IPL and fans only encouraged the game. So we need to beat ourseves with our own shoe.
The main reason of defeat is, in IPL all teams relied on foreign players to perform and take them to Semi. Indians reamined as second line next to Foreign recruits. Except Sachin Tendulkar none had telling performance in IPL.
If India is No.1 and 2 in Test/50-50 it is largely due to Sachin/Sehwag/Dravid.
Their absence vis-a-Vis feeling of second line up in IPL will haunt Indian cricket for long in T-20.

Yeh you are absolutely right. when veteran like jaysurya can play for lanka, why not sachin and darvid. even today, if u select dravid in 50-50 or 20-20 format, he can play better than youngsters and dhobi should realise it, keep aside his ego, politics and play for the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sense upto large extent. Only thing was Sachin and Dravid never played 20-20 but still we were good.Somehow we last that freshness in team. Looks like team of wounded people who cannot even walk.
