IRFAN CAN BE IN THE INDIAN TEAM,JUST FOR HIS BATTING.HIS BOWLING IS A BONUS. DON'T TREAT HIS AS A BOWLER.NOW IT IS A CASE THAT HE IS A BATTING ALROUNDER.

Is there any jokers meet there in IIT? If so no wonder Srikanth can lead, he is the specialist joker among selectors
every one is targeting vijay . vijay atleast scored a 49 against afgahanistan. ghambhir failed even against the minnows.but no one is pointing fingers on him. if only this series to considered ghambhir played even poorer than vijay.

Gambhir has scored heavily in the past even against Australia, dont compare him to Vijay. He got a chance and he should have proved by performance against SA, Aust, WI and not Afghanistan.
Why selectors are havinf regional bias, Vijay is good for nothing lot of showoff's, instead of him Uthappa or Irfan should have been handy for captain and team as well, but srikanth commiting the mistakes over mistakes

uthappa is not an opener ? shows how much u have followed cricket...uthappa is very much an opener..the reason he was drafted down the order was to accomodate Sehwag and Gambhir in Tests and Sehwag and Sachin in ODIs.

If Srilanka can produce quick bowlers like Malinga and Newzealand with a population of the size of Mumbai can produce bowler like Bond why has India never produced a genuine fast bowler ?
I think Irfan would have been a better choice than Yousuf.I dont remember Yousuf playing a single match wining innings for India.And he gets wickets only because batsman try to hit him out of the park. Irfan still bowls a few wicket taking balls and has scored some runs as well at the international level.
