Pak still has a chance but depends on NZ beating Eng. Who know how the matches are fixed. Organisers and sponsers don't want India and Pakistan to be out before semifinals. Match fixing will be done to ensure the same. Don't worry much about it.

LG, firstly my credentials and what i have achieved or not achieved in my life is another issue. Secondly dhoni has never been stealing anybody's credits or basking under glory of others. He has achieved quite a lot in only his first 5-6 years in international cricket (much more than what sachin had achieved in his first 5-6 years of international cricket). It is sachin who is stealing credits and basking under glory of others. of course he is not to be blamed because he himself has never done that. It is blind and fanatical fans like you who have done those things on his behalf, without asking for his permission or telling him. (One can only imagine how ashamed he is of fans like you, he must be feeling what steffi graf must have felt like when one of her crazy fans stabbed monica seles.) Also i have my own opinions and have expressed them on this forum from time to time. Also the question of invitation does not arise, because once you have posted something anybody can reply to it. Let me also give you some stats about what dhoni has achieved. You have often said that it is because of no. of not outs etc. that dhoni has a good record. Let me point out to you that Dhoni has scored more than 5000 ODI runs over a course of about 5 years and he has scored them at a rate faster than sachin. sachin took 141 matches 138 innings to score 5000 odi runs with 11 100's and 31 50's. Dhoni took 152 matches 135 innnings to complete 5000 odi runs with 5 100's and 34 50's.

What Ajay has said is right. Infact Dhoni is the best captain in Indian history. Gambhir's & UV's can play but not win matches. For winning matches u need a good leader. AND IT IS DHONI. You are still a kid to select teams.....

This is certainly not the best Indian team. In a tournament like World Cup, How can a team take a rookie like Vinay Kumar or Umesh Yadav ( god knows who's he !!!) ? And why its Piyush Chawla and not Pragyan Ojha or Amit Mishra ? And for this World Cup, we should take Sachin & Rahul into the squad in stead of Pathan & Karthick for their ability to play fast bowling. Age is not the main criterian as 2 out of three highest run getting Indians in the IPL-3 are more than 35-yrs old -Sachin & Sourav ( who became scapegoat for his bong-connection). This team should lose and they will loss today.

Yes, why Dhoni will be concerned about India's loss or win because he earned a lot of money like more than 25 million USD last year and you know when he batted to bring his CSK team into the semifinal in IPL 2010, he said that he had to play well because his franchise owner paid him such a big money amount and the owners did expect a good performance from him (Dhoni). he is not mister cool, but pretends to be so to avoid any crticism because he has gained a lot of money, so, why he would bother for his good performance for India (his country), but he must bother for a good performance for his franchise, isn't it?

Dhoni after winning the toss electing to field is a foolish decision. Now you see his decision costed India a match and a golden chance of scoring 2 points. If failure to qualify Dhoni himself has to blame .
i hv noticed one thing most of players who r selected frm ipl have never performed be it murli vijay,manpreet ghoni,yousuf pathan,ravindr jadeja.i think selectors now shd understand dat ipl level is far low frm internnational level.god knows wat will happn to umesh nd vinay who also been selected frm ipl.

Buddy, guys like mishra, ojha, tiwari, rayudu have not been selected. Instead u have jadeja who was not in the last IPL and short of match practice was selected. Apart from bhajji and rohit, no one performed in the last match. It would be mistake to select yadav for today's match. Instead piyush should come in as west indies are known to be good players of spin.
