The BCCI had the BALLS to bring in half clad white cheerleaders to shake their booties in front of Indian crowds during the IPL. Now why the f**k wouldn't the same BCCI have the BALLS to produce FAST and BOUNCY pitches across India for our young players ???? where the hell is all the money going ? I don't see India becoming world no.1 in all 3 forms of the game unless they play on fast, bouncy tracks like South Africa and Australia. Geographically, South Africa and India share similar soil types. This has been proven. Indians need to bite their egos and do something before India becomes the laughing stock of world cricket.
Poor team selection by the Indian selectors. Jadeja, Yusuf pathan & Murali Vijay are utter craps, especially the first two. They are merely for IPL and never played well in any of the international matches.. Bring Irfan, Robin Uthappa & Sehwag back.. If sehwag is injured, at least they can bring Virat kohli or Manish Pandey.. Very pitty on BCCI and Indian Selectors.. I don't think this team can do any impact in the ongoing T20 world cup.. Anyway all the very best for Dhoni and team for a good performance..

Why is this a better team than the one that played the Aussies? Vijay didn't do the job he was there for. To see Nannes off. Gambhir didnt either. However, Gambhir's experience has to be valued.
It doesn't experiment with players that have no international experience like Jadeja. Yusuf Pathan falls in the same category. However, there is no Robin Utthappa in this team and so not a lot of choices.
Wrong Team:
Picking Jadeja - how has no record to speak of in the indian domestic scenario. This guy is an IPL product. We all know how well the IPL players did against international competition in the Champions league. Not a single IPL team could compete with the Champions league teams.

BCCI is the richest club in the world, where does all the money go? why can't they develop fast picthes in our country?. At least the players will not get a shock facing fast picthes.

I agree that BCCI is full of people who have done hardly anything for the development for indian cricket. Boss i amused when people talk of preparing fast pitches to help our batsmen cope with short pitched stuff. But when there are no realy `fast' bowlers in domestic curcuit, how would these guys get practice against such stuff? We need to scout for fast bowlers on a war footing with former cricketers taking the lead. If you read the interviews of former cricketers, all of them talk more about batting than the fast bowling talent which is the real problem. Again, merely preparing fast pitches would not automatically lead to guys bowling fast. What is needed is a fierce ambition and will to bowl fast along with development of proper physique.

Is fast bowling encouraged in india? We are happy if our bowlers bowl a good line and length! I am yet to see an indian player bowling well over 145 kms over . I don't think the situation would change unless there is a see change in attitude. Look at pakistan. They have the same piches back home and hardly any money. Yet they keep producing fast bowlers by dozens. So, unless there is a will and ambitions to bowl fast, nothing will happen!
