Thank god its srikanth the chief selector. If someone from Karnataka was selector, then even drainage cleaner from Bengaluru would be in Indian team.
Thank god chief selector is not from Mumbai else dabbawallas would be in the Indian team!

the drainage cleaners from Bengaluru and Mumbai dabbawalas are better then the ones selected by Srikanth, atleast they are good at their job.

Why people always send hate messages when someone from Chennai is selected in team.
didnt srikanth give channce to other state youngsters like mithun,vinay,saha ,etc
did srikanth select his son or relatives?just see the domestic records of badri,vijay ,etc then you will realize why these guys are not selected till now?
at last is there any Law in India that a selector should never select anyone from his own state particulary if he is from TN irrespective of the talent .
please let me know if indian govt has passed any law like that

Yeah why not. For the bigoted people from Bengaluru, even a kannadiga drainage cleaner can represent team india. IPL3 leason was not enough i guess.

Thanks Mr.Yusuf for raising that question. I would be happier if you could ask that question when people send hate messages against every tamilian selection in indian team.
srikanth has given chance many youngsters from other states like abmanya mithun,Vinay kumar,chawla ,ravindra jadeja,kohli,etc.
Kohli,raina failed in lot of games in initaial days but srikanth has given enough opporyunity to prove their talent.
Similarly he is also giving chance to talented youngsters like vijay from his state .whats wrong in it?
srikanth even gave lot of chances to Uthappa but he failed in international matches why your as**s are always buring when some one from tamil nadu enters team India?

Making Srikanth the selector itself was the JOKE by the BCCI, he's a foolish crickter himself, fully corrupt, has no knowledge in anything, and no one is burining their as...s or co..k, but fluke cricketers at the expense of good cricketers should not be selcted, most of the tamil guys are one time wonders none can shine IPL is not real cricket, and these tamilians only know the divide and destroy

yes making srikanth selector itself was a joke by the BCCI. If a kannadiga actor or a rapper food minister would have been selected, then it must be a very SENSIBLE decision by the BCCI.

Whatever Modi did, the net result is IPL became $4 billion enterprise in 3 years, it brought money and respect for India, it generated jobs and contributed to economy.
All countries have enterprise or areas through which they generate money. IPL was a net source of income fo India and everyone benfitted.
Just because Modi brought down a chamcha of madam, all guns went against him. there is nothing more to ipl controversy.
The biggest loser is India, and thousands of jobs and Indian economy. Just one old bitter woman taking revenge at the cost of nation. what a shame.

the prev. selector was vengsarkar...tho he used to select powar, but the selections he made like ishant, giving rest to sehwag and then getting him back, recalling raina, giving rest to irfan and then recalling for 2007 20-20 world cup all these policies paid off...it was vengsarkar's work that paid off during srikanth's time...we need an astute cricketer like colonel(vengsarkar) like say mohinder amarnath as national selector and then indian team will touch greater heights...i don't think srikanth's parochial atttitude of selecting tamilians like badrinath, vijay, kartik etc irrespective of their non performance will do any wonders for indian team as a whole.
