why people start to bark if a tamilian is slected by another tamilian... To be honest Gavaskar and Tendulkar got selected due to their marathi basis... and they are no better than others, if not given a chance (well sachin got lot of chance, scored his first ton in his 79th match).

what about politician dhobi giving chance to all his average northy friends like Ishant sharma, RP singh,Raina, Kohli, praveen kumar, gambhir, joginder sharma , yuvi, bhajji etc who continued in team for a long even without any noticable contribution & repeated failure. From the time dhobi is captain- always 70-80% northy in t20/odi team & he always ignore player from south India & mumbai. Mr sethu please don't drag great sachin in this cotroversy but see the regionalism of politicain dhobi. He is the most political, average & regional player in history of Indian criccket

Mr: Ashish, as long as team India can win the world cup, no regrets. Besides, all the players that you named are in high form. They are great team players and not individual record makers. I see Kapil in Dhoni and not Gavaskar, which is what we need.

Dhoni is a politician, plain and simple. He does have the skills to be a good cricket player, but he is also very envious of seniors like Tendy. You should see his face when tendy is getting MOM/ MOS Awards.

u r a complete idiot. Murli Vijay is an opener; replaces an injured Sehwag. Dinesh Karthik is a wicket keeper. Ambati Rayudu and Uthappa 'fielded' (not kept) behind the stumps. Stay away from these cricket forums

Both kartik & Raiidu are better batsman as well as wicketheeper than uselss politician dhobi who can't play against quality bowling.

How in earth an u compare rayadu who is a occasional Wicket keeper with Karthik who is considered to be one of the best wicketkeeping talent in india. Plz ask Adam Gilchrist or Ian Healy. Both rate Dinesh Karthik's keeping very high, next only to Prasanna Jayawardene of Sri lanka- even above Dhoni. I don't want to argue with you on your useless comment. I am sorry. We are talking about Cricket.

Hey Loser. Agree Rayudu N Uthappa are good cricketers. Don't compare him to DK. I have played with him enough to say he is a class WK. About Murali Vijay, I think you need to stay away from these forums. When this stupid G R Vishwanath was in the panel we had Dodda Ganesh, David Johnson, Vijay Bharadwaj kind of players who can't even fit in my 1st division Chennai team. PAck off...Chennai always brought great cricketers to India. Full stop
