For them who write something Hatred remarks about Ganguly The fact is that Ganguly is not a hard hitter like Gayle,McCullum,Brad Hodge etc Ganguly is there to hold one end and find gaps in field and hit a bad ball to the boundary/six And finally,Cricket is a game and hence no need to criticize on player. If players like Gayle,Hodge etc are not able to perform, then definately Ganguly has to change his strategy of batting which obviously is likely to fail.So it is wrong to blame a player. Just watch the game and Enjoy and leave it.

If you love someone, it does not mean that you keep praising him even if his performing badly.
I continue to admire Ganguly for having been one of India's best captains and a very good batsman. But that is history. It is very obvious now that Ganguly does not have it in him any more to play competitive cricket.

Yes Definately Kapil and Ganguly were the two good captains and both were humiliated. India under Kapil's Captaincy won the 1983 world cup and in 2003,under Ganguly's Captaincy,India was able to make up to the finals. No other captains were able to take India upto semi-finals even(other than in the 1987 world cup). I wont say Dhoni a good captain because T20 World cup is not a big thing. It is instant cricket and 2-3 shots/quick wickets can turn the game instantly. definately Ganguly's style doesnt suit T-20 cricket but it does not mean that anyone can come and criticize him. For criticizers of Ganguly,I just want to say that first check who you are, what is your eligibility and then criticize a player

In that case, jai ho! Keep praising your master even when he gets out for a duck! Fortunately, he is no more in international cricket and cannot screw up India's chances.
For the KKR fans, Ganguly's presence in the team is more important than the team's result. Very good! Other teams will be very pleased if Gangu remains in Kolkatta!
By coming as an opener at Power Play, Ganguly wastes precious overs and also denies opportunity for big hitters. What is he trying to prove. Ganuly and Sachin come during power play period which is the easiest time to score and have best run rate. Power play is for players like Warner, Sehwag, Gayle, Hayden, Gylchrist etc who can hit hard and do not mind getting out.

ganguly & dhobi was always usless. Average player with good manipulative skill. Both were just overhyped by media & brainless regional fans for nothing. Its always that few great players who won matches for india & these two were master in taking all credits. Also good connection with media like NDTV. If u see both of them own contribution in india win, its very negligible. Still I will rate dada better than dhobi as dhobi is too regional & political

Ganguly is not a batsman who can hit like Warner, Sehwag or Yusuf Pathan. But he can play an anchoring role, coming as an opener & holding one side with around 10 strike rate & batting till the end. It's very sure that, the perpose of coming as an opener is nothing other than this. There are many other batsmen in the team who can take big hits from the other side. Now when that is hapening everything is going smooth, e.g., M. Tiwari took the big hitter role in the previous match & Gangully took the great supportive role scoring 50 from 40 balls on the other side. Problem starts when the big hitters fail & then Ganguly has to hit. Most of the matches, it's happening like that. Chris Gayle is coming with Ganguly to open the innings & Gayle is not showing proper justice to his name, apart from few welcome 4 & 6, he is almost stuck up. Ganguly is then got compelled to hit every ball with risk. Thats the danger for him, b'coz batsmen like Ganguly Dravid Laxman are not comfortable with this style, their strenth is some technique & talen coupled with timing, they don't have tremendous body power to address every ball to sideline. If Gayle Brad Hodge Tiwari Hussey etc big hitters can't perfor, if Ishant Sharma bowls like a nursery kid with ridiculous immaturity, if a person of GOD in fast-bowling, Akram is sitting in the bench as bowling catch & still bowlers find themselves lost in t

Debasish, you can disagree without using foul words.
If Ganguly and Laxamn are not comfortable in power hitting, why are they coming at the power play? In my opinion, there is no need for anchoring in T:20. KKR had many wickets in hand and still was not able to post a competitive total because of Ganguly. Anchoring is the word used by strokeless players who cant score fast. Imagine the plight of hardhitters sitting in the dug out watching helplessly while Ganguly eating away overs. Imagine a pressure it creates on the batsman at the other side and also the batsmen to follow if Ganguly scores only at a strike rate of hundred. They cant throw away their wickets because Ganguly can't score. They also have a reputation at stake. In my opinion, if some one has stayed at the crease for 20 balls or more he should have a strike rate of 150. Ganguly and Laxman will not be in a 20:20 team if they are not captain or Ikon players. They were good for Tests earlier.
1.S.Bond must play every match 2.A.Mathews should bowl with new bowl and should complete his quota 3.Ganuly should not be in playing X1, if he plays then he should come after powerplay overs.

Watch & enjoy IPL, why write stupid things. Leave such idiotic comments to the likes of Ravi Shastri & Harsha Bhogle. Remember, last year people said even about Sachin & Kallis. When Rajasthan lost first two matches this time, these fools commented about the skills of Warne also. What do you think about Dravid, Yuvraj, Sangakara - all lost their skills or never had any ?
i am big fan of sachin. really there is no sutitute of experience player.for example scahin is proving in all form of game.but few dirty mind people always criticise u always. either u do good or bad.
