.... and these two may make a difference between winning and losing. Frankly, Amit Mishra is better CRICKETER than Chawla. He is a good fielder and a good hitter of ball too. People may noticed his good catches and excellent direct hits in IPL3. Irfan Pathan has imporved considerably, both in bowling and batting. He is far far better than Nehra, and would have definitely made a difference. But alas, the boat has sailed now. Lets pray for the best.

I agree with you. Zaheer may fail too. He should be limited to one day and test. But he is the most experience bowler, and he guides other bowlers very well. And thats why he was selected.

When the discussion of not including Uthappa n Manish Pandey will go on, how can u include Chawal ahead of Amit Mishra/Ojha/Murali Kartik n neway 3rd spinner is not needed after Bhajji n Jadeja

Well......it may not be a great thing with the selection of Chawla.....The reason is only one spinner will be in the final XI and it will be noone other than Harbhajan......R Jadeja is not to be considered as a regular spin bowler and his entry will be as an all-rounder. So, it may not be a big matter......however, Nehra selection is mistaken.....They should have given chance to Irfan Pathan Uthappa is not an international level.....He had many chances in the past and was not successful anywhere.....IPL is not a tool for selection.

Bhajji is not for T20. Ojha is much better than him. He has always done well in IPL and whenever he got an opportunity. Bhajji may be good in Tests, ODIs but he will be smashed in T20s.
For god sake Srikanth not selected Ashwin, Badrinath, Balaji along with injured batton of Nehara, raina, Gambhir, Dhoni, Yuvi. Pandey, Uttappa, Shikar dhavan, Sourabh tiwary all performed well in IPL3 against "chennai" which killed their selection opportunity to T20WC

Piyush Chawla is the most useless spinner in the history of spin bowling. Even under 15 Indian team will whack him for sixes. This idiot probably has strong connections for getting selected so many times. He has no consistency, bowls wide outside off stump or short and doesnt change pace. He was battered by Sri Lankans and Pakistanis in Asia Cup, the only time he played international cricket.
What Ashish Nehra is doing in the WC squad. He is not even considered for his club team so far. besides that he is very fragile and is one of the slowest fielder on the ground. lets see what happens. Another thing to watch is as how many of them can keep them injury free till the world cup begins in the rigerous schedule of IPL which has now beomw Injured Player League..
