I want k1ckk him badly til my anger gets decreased. Chawla is worst selection for spinners. Amit and Ojha far better. Team lacks young bl00d. Manish again not given chance. Bowling unit looks ok. Batting - sticking to same unit , baffalo sreekant

muppet, sachin dont want to play in world T20 since 2007, he has opted out.understand this first before commenting
I did not think Indian Team will win world cup becuase its fielding and blowing are very weak. They are No.1 in test and 2nd in ODI but only by chance not by merit. The negative marking against SA/AUS help India to reach this spot.

SEE THE PEROFORMANCE OF INDIAN TEAM IN THE TEST/ODT MATCHES IN LAST THREE YEARS. THEN U WILL GET THE ANSWER. SIMPLY OPTING FOR SANSKRIT NAME DOES NOT JUSTIFY YOUR INDIANITY DESPITE BEING AN INDIAN BY BIRTH FOR THE MISTAKE DONE BY NEHRU 7 GANDHI

agreed.... I thought Uthappa and Tiwary will get a chance...donno what Vinay Kumar, Piyush Chavla n all do...
I am happy for Vinay Kumar..this guy has worked very hard. His domestic performance is consistent from last three seasons. In the last two season of Ranji he is among top wicket takers besides he is performing really well in IPL.I have seen him taking wickets of some big names including Sachin Tendulkar. He can swing both ways , has good variation and bouncers in his armoury.By playing with the likes of Steyn for RCB i am sure he has picked many tips required for a fast bowler. Congratulations to Vinay kumar & I wish him success.

definately very good selection and very best of luck to Vinay Kumar and entire Indian Team for T20 WC.
Whoever criticize Ashish Nehra should first study the facts :-p. as some say, he is very experienced with international matches. (yes , exceptionally well with T20 international). Just look at his figure 2 matches- 42 balls-96 runs conceded-1 wicket with a bowling avg of 96 and economy rate of 13.71. Definitely he's the best option available in India for T20s. Two more bowlers should need to be the part of the team inorder to make our journey to the cup rather easy.
The World Cup T20 team was supposed to be selected only within the 30 probables selected on Feb 25th. They are Probables: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Dinesh Karthik, M S Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, S Sreesanth, Sudeep Tyagi, Rohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Ishant Sharma, Abhishek Nayar, Wriddhiman Saha, Naman Ojha, Piyush Chawla, Abhimanyu Mithun, Manish Pandey, R P Singh, Munaf Patel, M Vijay, Vinay Kumar, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin
Since Sachin didn't wanted to play T20 World Cup he kept was out. Robin Uttappa, S Dhawan, Tiwary, Jhunjhunwala, Murali Karthik were also not selected in the probables. So don't bust out simply without knowing.
The mega surprise and shocking thing about this selection is CHAWLA. He hasn't been superior at all against his competitors for his seat like Mishra or Ohja. But he is still selected coz of Godfathers he have in selection committee and another very influential person who can get selected every time with below average or average performance is Rohit Sharma. He has applied for permanent membership for Mumbai mafia. Players like Manish Pandey who doesn't have any Godfathers should perform even more impressively to get selected. There is general rule in the selection always that you should leave experienced players for major tournaments even if their current form is low..chalta hai..Jai Ho
