Dont Worry he will be back in World Cup
by shlok on Jun 07, 2010 08:18 PM

Yuvi will be back in world cup. Some players would fail by then and selectors will come back again to the old lot.

He should be allowed to play until he decides to quit for his performance in peak time.

Why??
by aditya vyas on Jun 07, 2010 08:12 PM  | Hide replies

Why selectors are choosing team in the base of T20 form. It's just not cricket. They should be chosen only with their 50-50, Test form for the 50-50 and TEST.

Only 20-20 team should be chosen on 20-20 form.

I think the team which has gone to Zimbabwe should had gone to 20-20 WC (all youngsters) and vice versa.

India lacks Killer Instinct
by Vinal Gandhi on Jun 07, 2010 08:09 PM

It is a sad fact but Indian team since ages always has found itself wanting when it comes to winning. The never say die attitude which you find in Australia and Pakistan teams is sadly missing. More often than note, we always throw in the towel unlike Aussies who fight till the last ball is bowled. We take solace that a second string Indian team lost the recent tri series but conveniently forget that a second string Aussie team defeated India in India comprehensively.

Congrats Yuvi on being dropped from the side
by Sumit Mitra on Jun 07, 2010 08:04 PM  | Hide replies

Uthappa & Sreesanth should have been selected in place of Jadeja & Dinda.Shocking 2 see Jadeja still retaining his place in the squad. Anyways congrats Srikanth & co to show enough gutts to drop Yuvi. Now let him realise the pain of staying outside the team.He was taking his place in the side for granted. Congrats Chika.Well done. Brave move.Cheers.

Jadeja definietely deserves the place, please go through the records you will find why ? But, still Utthappa might have been given chance ahead of Tiwary only with the T20 record we canot justify his ability. Let us see how he will perform..Sreeshanth also desevres the place deffinietly in the One day & test side.

IAM VERY HAPPY THAT YUVRAJ IS OUT OF TEAM. HE WAS SPOILING THE ENTIRE TEAM SINCE FROM LONG TIME. NOW HE IS FREE TO GO AND DANCE AT STAGES. ATLEAST HE SHOULD BAN FOR A YEAR OR MORE THAN THAT.

2005 when we started winning abroad under Sourav Ganguly ........
by India on Jun 07, 2010 08:01 PM  | Hide replies

2005 when we started winning abroad under Sourav Ganguly ........above staement by Srikant......

..he conviniently forgot that under Sourav..in 2004 also a history was created when Pakistan for the first time lost test &ODI series in their home series..against India under Sourav...

..first such win in Pakistan by any Indian Captain in last 50 years

...... then why Sourav was removed by BCCI dirty politics.......

Sourav was humiliated by BCCI---using Kiran More & Greg Chappel as a political tool.....

Just like Kapil Dev was removed as Captain immidiately after winnng world Cup in 1983....

BCCI is bunch of jokers..present IPLrow show how Pawars & his henchmen are cheating & makinf thousands of crores
...

BCCI is team of scoundrels...

Biggest scoundrel in Indian team is present captain dhongi who never deserve a place in team on merit.
Its player who win matches & not captain . On merit even raidu is better than politician dhobi.

Agreed...Ironically only Lalit Modi has the brains to clean up BCCI or completely ignore it and start another Cricket body based on good corporate governance.. With a handicapped, ugly, unsmart, paralysed Pawar around- cricket in India will never improve. Why doesnt he die!
