I have been a cricket lover for long. I was under the illusion that the BCCI team was our (Indian) team. Now after this rude shocker from BCCI, I have decided to completely tune myself away from any criket involving the BCCI team. I will boycot BCCI cricket completely. Can we all boycot BCCI cricket together? We should not watch a single match in Zimbabwe, the upcoming home series with NZ or any other future programs including IPL.

Dont call it Indian cricket please. It is BCCI cricket. No private party should be allowed to own the name "India".

BCCI is a private body and BCCI team is a private team, that they have proved, money and money is its only objective..it has no national pride to prove the team to be an Indian team..you are writing as if you are planted here by BCCI..Have you heard french soccer player fighting with their club to play for playing for his country in olympic qualifier in national jersey? Have you found that urge in any of the senior pros of BCCI team? There is nothing called Indian cricket, its BCCI cricket..

BCCI is nothing but legal money spinners without ant commitment to the country.they are likeBRITISH who only want money but not any pariotism
Sports Authority of India should NOT recognize BCCI's team India to represent the country. Instead there should be a separate team led by the government that will play for the country and not just for money and ad fame.
Sports authority of India should force BCCI to rename its team to something like BCCI IX and NOT Indian team. Its a pity that countries like pakistan, etc are sending their team and there is no Indian team there.

and must be banned from representing india.. and made to play as bcci XI
Re: Re: Re: First of all Cricket doesnt deserves Asian games ?

with just 4 or 5 teams the quality of the game is also worse..
there is no use in playing asian games.. if team india plays in the asian games it will be very boring for the spectators to watch and also tiredsome for the players.indian team should concentrate on playing more and more international cricket in order to have a good preparation for the world cup.. playing in asian games is absolutely a crap and useless.

Playing for your country is crap and useless? Then why have the World Cup? Might as well stick to IPL and not shame the country as has been the case in Zimbabwe
Sachin pls think about it . you are holding a gold medel with your teammates standing all with gold medel and national anthem and national flag is up.think about the glory
It is the Fact that Cricketers NEVER play FOR Country, Even Technically It is BCCI Vs Cricket Aus. ( Or the case may be ). Sachin may be Great cricketer but we must think twice before giving/awarding him Bharat Ratna. Sachin should have come Out against BCCI for their decision . He is sufficiently rewarded with Endorsements for his great show in Cricket, No need to give him Bharat Ratna. True Colours of Cricketer's ( Including Sachin ) are Known now. They SIMPLY Play FOR Money and Not for Country. We are foolish Watching Cricket, when 50% matches are Fixed .
We are offering two Asian games gold medal(mens/womens cricket) in a platter to Pakistan/Srilanka..an Asian games or Olympic gold is a matter of national pride..and one gold medal can raise our positon a lot in the medal tally..we must make sure to get Hockey,Kabaddi,Shooting,Archery,Wt.lifting boxing and Cricket gold medals..it is matter of the prestige of Indians..IF BCCI does not agree blacklist it for anti national activities and send a team from ICL players and make Kapil Dev ,the coach/selector...
..till now we donot know how is the preparation going on in atheletics..Is there any new P.T.Usha?
Rediff please take up the matter like Bt.Brinjal to force this money hungry enemy of the nation BCCI to send our team to Asiad..
I appreciate Kumble and Vijender and request entire sports community to force BCCI to bent on their knees..
what is there in asian games that we should go and play there no matter if indian team has international commitments or not.. indian team plays international cricket under the govenning body of ICC. there is no need to play in such crap events like asian games, olympics and commonwealth games.. there is too much cricket being played nowadays and playing in asian games will be very boring for the spectators and tiredsome for the players.. indian team should play more and more international cricket in order to have a good preparation before going to the world cup.. even the players are representing their own country in international cricket so there is no use playing in asian games.
