Who has control over BCCI? Cant the Ministry of Sports issue an order to send some team to Asian games? Its high time-Media shd unite and encourage BCCI to reconsider the decision. BCCI consist of Pawars,shulkas,shettys,modis n idiots. Sack them if required n take over. We all citizens issue a fatwa not to go to stadium and watch.
BCCI - Shame on you! Seriously! You cannot dictate cricket in this country. I hope your powers are reduced considerably so you can stop holding the cricket world to ransom, every chance you get - not only international tournaments, but where India's pride is at stake. No participating in an event like this is a no brainer. This is the best lesson in humility for our spoilt lot of cricketers...no 5 star treatment and they will have to do all the washing on their own. They certainly need it.
how can he force a private team to participate in the national/international events. They are professsional teams. The cricket team is not under the control of indian govt. unlike hockey. It is like basket ball, professional teams will not participate in olympics

Better BCCI stop using name India while representating India if its a private Body and cant respect India's participation in international events like asian games
We have seen corruption level in IPL (child of BCCI). No one will Believe BCCI Bosses where not aware what was going in IPL. Though Lalit Modi is equally corrupt and part of the corrupted bunch. Entire resposibility of all wring doings is charged on him alone making him scape goat to save their own skins. Modi should be punished at the same time there bosses should also be punished for whatever wrong doings. Government should not allow BCCI to go away with everything. they should be shown their limit and make them understand Nation is above everything
It should be the indian gov.'s decision to send a team to Asian games. It cannot be the decision of a private body.
When it comes to World tournaments decisions like this should be in the Gov hands. Otherwise, aprofit-mided body like BCCI will ignore india and indians.

how indian govt. can interfere in BCCI? BCCI is private body, the cricket team is NOT indian team, it is a private. As such India does not have a cricket team

Actually what Dhruva said is true. What that also means is the Indian govt. can forma 14 member squad without BCCI and decide to send them for Asiad. But how many of our mercenary cricketers will agree - is a different question. Yuvraj has already gone on record saying that he supports BCCI's decision.

It should be called the BCCI's Criccket Team ..
BCCI should also change its name .. from BCCI to Board for Control of Cricket (BCC)

That's a good question. It's all in the name you see. While we have Cricket Australia, England and Wales Cricket Board, etc. But here we have Board of CONTROL for Cricket in India. They have full CONTROL on the activities here and also the remote control to make players dance to their tunes. Don't be surprised if they stop Kumble's pension from tomorrow like they did for Kapil Dev.

Take open voting of existing team members wether they want to participate in Asian games as a Indian team or hnour other International commercial commitment. answer should be either of two and not diplomatic one. We must know crores of people spending their valuable time or money for cricketers who plays for India or BCCI. Come on Cricketes speak up for the cause show your true colours
