Jolted India in must-win situation
by Senthil on Jun 05, 2010 11:09 AM

And so here we are at that stage in a multi-nation tournament where we wonder, 'Hold on, haven't we been here before'? India face Sri Lanka in a must-win encounter for the nth time in a multi-nation tournament.

India's win-loss ratio has gradually improved over the years, and they've won far more than they've lost in the last five years. Their year-wise stats show that 2008 was an exceptional year, when they won 19 games and lost only eight. Also, the period between 2000 and 2002 was when they caught up with Australia; in the last five years, both teams have played almost the same number of matches

by Senthil on Jun 05, 2010 10:41 AM

crumbling under pressure

When V Kohli and R Sharma want to take Batting power play and try for a Bonus point they were denied by Stupid Raina in the last game and we will see today S Raina again committing a biggest mistake. Guess what?

Blame game
by Michael on Jun 05, 2010 09:16 AM

The bowlers are the ones who have to improve dramatically if India has to win with a bonus point. The middle order is even weaker than the openers. Kholi, raina, yusuf, jadeja have to do pull up their socks. In the last match against zim. the openers gave a 50 plus runs pattership, then what happened after both got out, the middle-order collapsed. Maybe a shuffle in the batting-order can be done.

Now only Banana's can save India
by sanjay on Jun 05, 2010 09:11 AM

Give Banana's to Sri Lankan fielders while we bat.
And score boundaries sixes at will.

While they bat give to batsman while he eats Banana our bowlers can get them out...

Why worry send Banana's in truck loads.
