4 wickets off tailenders and only got wickets because they were trying to score runs. but yeah, he was the better indian bowler -- he should be able to make it as a reserve practice bowler in most club teams of sri lanka
Indians lack team spirit bcoz 26 plus states like Europe continent hence always everyone plays for himself,his carrier,his endorsements etc.Moreover look at all the comments below as how we as Indians are divided? sad
Batting: Bring in Cheteshwar Pujara in place of Yuvi, Yuvi is another Afridi of India so he should only be content and honest enough to opt out of tests like Afridi. Laxman should also be rested now, Ajinkya rahane or Abhinav Mukund can replace him. Give these yoiungsters change else, After Sachin, Dravid and Laxman avacume would be created which wont be fulfilled by Dhonis or Yuvis.. Bowling : Bhajji is truly disappointment, He is not a wrold class spinner, though he has taken 355 odd wickets. One can argue that one off game can be permissible, but he is not performing for years. One or two five wicket hauls in a couple of years does not make him any good. Pragyan ojha is only a one day/T20 bowler. Bring in Murli Karthik, he is devastating in county for years.Mithun and Ishant can surely continue. All Rounder: Bring in Irfan for sure, he can give strength to the batting and Bowl Medium Pace(since he has lost Pace). But Irfan is the best bet for an all rounder position anytime. Last but not the least... Wicket keeper: Our dearest Captain Cool is not a Test batsmen by any standard and in captaincy, he is full of grudge with senior players. He did never won or at least saved a single test on his own. So he should be shown doors. Dinesh Karthik is more accomplished Batter on any given day as far as Tests are concerned.

jammy dammy , just for your info, Dhoni has saved a match for India in England scoring 90 odd runs and remaining not out.

Good thinking. You should be in the selection panel. India should pay test series against Kenya, Bangladesh, West Indies,Zimbabwe etc. so that they can retain their ranking.
1). Sri Lanka won the toss and it is their advantage. Why Indian bowlers allowed them to score 520 runs in Ist Innings ? Our bowling is poor, fielding is poor, we are physically un- fit etc. These are casual approach.
2). One day was completely washed out by rain, thereby reducing the match to a 4-day affair. Then also, we could not manage to score 300 plus runs on board in the Ist Innings to avoid follow-on. Sri Lankan Bowlers were not unplayable and they could have been tackled with determination. This is again a casual approach, Players are not serious at all.
3). After the follow-on, we should have been concerned for Nation's prestige. But, we again failed, leaving Ishant and Mithun to act on to save the match, if they can. These do not have any explanation. It only exposes the very attitudes of each of the Indian players, especially, the top orders.
4). The Selectors are also equally responsible for these types of poor show by Indian Team.

This load is going to remain on each player. they are professionals and they should learn to tackle it. Yr point of seperate team is already in place. Media and glamour is like other side of the coin..it will come as a part nd parcel. you cant ignore them
