It is nonsense to think of praying at the drastik end.First let dhoni and his bowling crownies learn from strilanka team work approach. I pray for a miserable defeat to dhoni and his mentals to learn a befitting lesson on how to arrive at a strategic approach during next test. Now and then these ups and downs should happen to reduce head longing and arrogantness amongst the players, then only consistancy will prevail slowly. Hats off to Srilanka, captain and his team.
The team doing good or done good will win, there is only one formula. Why say a lot and think like a mad, that rain should happen and so on? It is not shameful to think like that? Face the situation with open and full heart, whether it is good for you or bad, but it is created by you!?
Why Rahul Dravid doesn't understand that while saving his wicket he needs to score runs as well otherwise deficit will not reduce. Sometime or other you are going to loose wicket so why not score few more runs safely. Strike rate is horribl and dont know when this gentleman is going to understand this.

I echo your feelings.
Dravid is so obsessed with defending that whenever loose deliveries come, he is unable to capitalise on them. Also, by not trying to take even singles, he is preventing the batsmen at the other end from scoring. This may be counterproductive since some players like Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj may be disturbed if kept for too long out of strike and play a rash shot and get out.
Dravid should try to maintain a strike rate of atleast 55-60 in test matches, if not in the region of 75-80 like Sehwag.
